The location is fabulous. It over looks the harbour which gave us hours of entertainment as we loved watching the ships coming and going. It’s a 15 minute walk in to town - obviously uphill on the way home but the climb is worth it and it’s a good way to work off all the food consumed when down there. We loved the underfloor heating and the layout/design of the property- it was very stylish. The kitchen was well equipped but apart from making breakfast we didn’t really use it as we ate out every evening (apart from an excellent takeaway pizza on one night). Our hosts communicated well and were happy to help if we needed anything. These Islands are special and well worth a visit and accommodation like The Atlantic Jewel adds positively to the whole experience.

No negatives on this apartement. Has everything you need. Location is great, about 10 mins walk from the city center, lovely view to the harbour. Shops and restaurant is very close. The apartement is cozy, quiet, feels like coming home after a day hiking. The hosts are lovely and helpful. It is definitely a jewel to stay here. We d definitely stay here again.

Great view and very clean, modern and has everything you need for a nice stay in the Faroe. Flat in is a complex of other flats, this one is the top floor in between other ones.

This is a lovely apartment conveniently located in Torshavn. We walked in and around most parts of town from there. The beds and bedding were comfortable in the 2 front bedrooms (we did not use the 3rd bedroom which has a fold out sofa in it), it has a full kitchen and laundry and ample space.

I really like this apartment: the rooms are spacious, and almost all facilities are complete, including a washing machine, dryer, oven, etc.; there is a free parking space; it's a 10 - 15 minute walk to the city center; there is a balcony where you can quietly enjoy the distant sea view; the hostess is very warm-hearted. Overall, except for a minor issue with the TV connection, everything else is satisfactory.

The property was literally more than a home away from home. The apartment is beautiful, modern, clean and amenities were more than enough. Unn and Jogvan are so nice and accommodating - we had to extend our stay at very short notice and they accepted it immediately.

Super nice and cozy apartment, perfect to have a quiet evening in Torshavn after a full day. Well equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom and a comfy place to read by the window. Good location, close to SMS shopping centre and old town. Airport bus can be hailed from SMS bus stop.

“Perfect home away from home”

I have been staying in a lot of homes in many places and this is one of the best home I have ever stayed in. The home owner had been super nice and helpful from pre arrival to post departure. The home is well equipped with all the things you need (washer and dryer) and you never thought you will need (like hiking stick) 😂 The only small issue is if guest is using public transportation to reach the place is quite a bit of uphill walk. But I don't mind the struggle as the home is so awesome. But if you are driving or using taxi, this won't be an issue at all.

Perfect accommodation to explore the Faroe Islands - A parking space was available, the flat is clean with plenty of utensils to cook, location 10 min walk from Torshavn city center, interior is very nice with lots of useful information about the islands and how to explore them best and on top of that easy and flexible check-in procedure paired with great communication with the host The price was more than fair and I recommend it to everyone who wants to explore these beautiful islands!
