The location was literally across the road from Lake Garda which a stony beach. Absolutely perfect. A 5 minute stroll into the town. On a bus route to other areas too. The breakfast was beautiful so fresh lots of choice. Just downstairs with outside seating available. Eggs and bacon on request. Rosella from hotel Al caval was extremely helpful and absolutely lovely. The whole hotel was so clean. Highly recommend Hotel Al Caval. We could see the lake from our balcony.

We stayed at the Hotel Al Caval in Torri del Benaco two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked again for 2024 but unfortunately had to cancel due to a family bereavement. Fortunately, we had free cancellation for our booking, made through Booking.com. We therefore returned for our second visit this year and stayed for 10 nights. We are already thinking about a 3rd visit. The Al Caval is a small, very comfortable and well-cared for hotel with a wonderful team of very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast at the hotel is exceptional, with a wide range of fresh, high-quality choices. It was absolutely delicious every day! Our well-appointed 2nd floor bedroom had two balconies from where we could enjoy a stunning view of Lake Garda and the mountains on the opposite side of the lake, with a drink in our hand from the small hotel bar! The bedroom and all areas of the hotel are well-maintained, beautifully clean and well-equipped. Access to the lakeside is directly across the road and the hotel provides sunbeds, deckchairs and parasols for its guests, with beach towels provided for a small nominal charge. While the hotel is situated on the busy main road that circles Lake Garda, the road is quiet at night and traffic in no way detracted from our enjoyment of this lovely little gem of a hotel. The picturesque small town of Torri del Benaco is situated a short distance away and is accessed by a beautiful walk along the lakeside. Torri offers restaurants, bars, shops and a weekly market. Busy buses and ferries means that many other attractions can be easily accessed from the hotel which is the most perfect base for enjoying the delights of Lake Garda. We highly recommended it to visitors who prefer a more friendly and personal hotel experience, in a wonderful location with charming and attentive staff.

Nice little hotel in a good location with beach access. Parking was included and very easy. We arrived very early and was able to check in which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was really good, i had freshly cooked fried eggs and bacon.

Great location opposite the lake. This meant the traffic was loud but understandable for the position. Easy flat walk into town. Brilliant buffet breakfast, the best we’ve had in Italy. Lovely front desk host, she was very helpful.

The hotel was rated three stars, however, the service was more like a five star hotel, the ladies that ran the hotel could not do enough to make you welcome and enjoy our stay.
