The staff are very friendly, and we especially appreciated their helpful hiking advice. The lodge is warm and cozy, with charming décor and a welcoming common area where we enjoyed spending time. The views from every angle of the lodge are simply stunning. The location is excellent as well—close to the entrance of Torres del Paine, making it a perfect base for exploring the park.

“Waking up to stunning views”

Our stay at Morrena Lodge was truly special. We were kindly upgraded to a bigger room shortly before arrival, which was such a lovely surprise. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and well appointed. We also had dinner at the lodge and really enjoyed the food, but it was the setting that felt like the real treasure - waking up to stunning views, including a white horse grazing nearby and even a rainbow in the morning, was almost magical. A peaceful and memorable place to stay.

“Excellent from start to finish - and yes, we were in a pod (shepherd's hut!)”

The welcome from reception was exceptional - the information provided, the smile, the use of my name and advice... bravo! The food was very good and the service was thoroughly appreciated. We stayed in one of the pods outside and all was exactly as expected, perfect for two of us and very comfortable. I will add a photo (if it actually lets me upload) as people have commented that these are small - they are smaller than your average room but if you have ever stayed in what we in the UK call shepherd's huts (minus the kitchenette), you'll know what you are getting. If you travel with big luggage, for goodness sake get a room in the lodge - we travel with normal sized luggage with wheels, and we managed 3 nights perfectly as we used the lodge upstairs area for a very comfortable time when we didn't want to sleep. Please see the photo for proof and context as I feel some of these other reviews (which I read in detail) do not give a full picture. Thank you staff of Morrena Lodge, you rock! “A great place to stay if you can afford it”

It was a lovely hotel inside the park. Rooms were very nice and bed comfy. Could not fault the service of the staff. Valentina started keeping in touch even before we entered the park and was super helpful in advising us as to the places we were going to go to. Denise was lovely as was another young lady( apologies I forgot your name)

“Superb lodge very close to park”

We stayed in the little huts/domo for 3 nights. It was super - beds were good, a private bathroom with hot water and electricity. There is no WiFi in the huts - but there is in the common areas of the main lodge. We were there during a storm and you could definitely sense the fierceness of the winds. Once the clouds lifted there was an incredible view (and sunrise) over the mountains. Food was great (slightly more expensive than nearby places). Really easy access to the park. Staff were all very helpful and kind.

Rustic ambience. The room size was ok and staff helpful. Pleasant common area. Excellent location in Ville Serrano just a 15 min drive to the park gates.

“Fabulous location, warm and cosy lodge like hotel with friendly and helpful staff”

This visit was so much better than expected. The lodge is much more like a hotel than a hostel, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The restaurant served delicious evening meals and a great buffet breakfast. It is easy to take a lovely evening or early morning walk from the hotel down to the river and it is perfectly located for easy access to Torres del Paine park. We were warmly greeted by Denise, and given many useful tips and advice by Valentina- (who even managed to make the rain stop and the sun shine for us!). They do a great job of managing everything and everyone, and seem to really love what they do. Well done to them.

“Domo stay”

Great experience interests glamping pod/domo. It was surprisingly small (we are very tall) but we managed fine. Big duvets, a good heater and cute patio. Affordable compared to most other places and more comfortable than camping. Lovely to be able to use the main hotel area to chill and restaurant. Would recommend trying the nearby restaurants for drinks and food too. Would also recommend a car here. The staff are outstanding and nothing is too much to ask, giving great tips for the area too.

“The perfect base for exploring Torres del Paine National Park.”

Ideally situated for easy entry to the Torres del Paine national park. The Lodge provides simple accommodation in a well-designed, comfortable and environmentally-friendly way, with very homely communal lounge spaces and pleasant outdoor terrace. The staff are extremely helpful and both breakfast and evening meals were good. The mountain views were wonderful. We were sad to leave!

Location was great, very close to entrance of national park but there was also great walking from the lodge itself. Staff were all lovely and very helpful with advice for walks in the park and surrounding area. We had a spacious double room which was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed all the food we had, both breakfast and dinner were excellent. We also had a packed lunch on one day and it was excellent too although quite pricey but then that’s Patagonia!
