The room was very comfortable and warm, and the staff are super nice. Delicious breakfast. Bonus points for the cat (!!) and dogs. One of those places you wish you'd run yourself one day. Perfect!

“Great place to stay for visiting Torres del Paine NP.”

Unique and well equipped accommodation close to the entrance to NP Torres del Paine. Considering the remote area, facilities like in a City Hotel can't be expected, of course. But Patrick and his team spend great efforts to make the stay easy and comfortable for their guests. All facilities are very well thought out and uncomplicated. Our cabin had a wood stove for heating and a kitchen area, sufficient to prepare easy dishes. No refrigerator, due to limited electricity, but own goods could be stored in refrigerator in the main house. The restaurant offers breakfast and choice of dishes for dinner and a selection of wines and beverages. Good location at the river side with nice terraces at the river bank. Very friendly and supportive team.

“Cosy and comfy; great location for Torres del Paine”

Good location for Torres del Paine adventures ( close to NP entry); very helpful and communicative hosts; easy check-in; very cosy cabin; adequate kitchen for basic self-catering (there’s also a small restaurant on site); only heating is wood-burning stove (so be prepared to re-stoke through the night but plenty of firewood supplied; great views of the mountains when clear; would be cosy for 4 (1 queen bed plus 2 single bunks in one room - no door) but very comfy for the 2 of us; excellent and plentiful hot water. Location runs on generator and solar power so no microwave but we didn’t miss it.

Great location just outside park gates. Room was comfortable. Hot showers. We had a lovely dinner at very reasonable cost. Staff were very helpful. Very relaxing.

Fabulous view of Torres del Paine from the terrace, although Rio Serrano village was bigger than we expected the property still seems very isolated as nothing overlooks its perfect riverside setting. Lovely cabins with cosy bed and log burner for chilly nights. Dinner and breakfast in the main lodge were great.

“Different and good location”

Not your standard building with rooms but a collection of small wooden cabins in a large open grassed area. Normal hotel room sized inside with a bathroom and a small veranda with table and chairs to enjoy a coffee, beer or glass of wine after a days sightseeing and walking. Breakfast was cereals choice, eggs choice, toast, ham, cheese, fresh fruit with juice and tea or coffee. Ample for a good start to the day. WiFi was very hit and miss from a room, maybe better sat in the dining room. Dinner we didn't try. We aren't large eaters and the only meal offering of 3 courses for US50 per person didn't appeal. In fact it was cheaper and very good quality at the 4* Pampa Lodge a few hundred metres away. On our final night with them having a group of 12 guests using a private dining area and being busy we and several other guests were not invited so it was obvious they were relieved we wouldn’t be eating there.

Countryside

Conkashken Lodge is an excellent place to stay, and its biggest advantage is the location right at the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. The cabins are very clean, well maintained, and well equipped. The property itself is beautiful and well cared for, offering breathtaking views of Torres del Paine. The staff are extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything needed. The dinner was absolutely delicious — especially the grilled lamb barbecue, which was outstanding. We highly recommend this lodge to everyone. It is the perfect base for exploring Torres del Paine National Park.

The location is stunning and this accommodation has everything we required considering we planned to spend most of our time in the park. It is an off the grid experience with additional communal facilities for chilling and braaiing your own meat as well as your own wood fire in the cabins. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Coming from South Africa this was exactly what we expected but if you require fast and continuous wifi and spacious deluxe accommodation it is not for you!

“Wonderful immersive experience”

Great location and lovely staff. We loved the dogs and seeing the horses grazing around the lodges. The views were exceptional and we could get into the park within 5 minutes which meant we had more time to enjoy being there. Fantastic value.

“Peaceful retreat in Torres del Paine”

Location was excellent for view of Cuernos. Staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. They would do everything to make your stay comfortable. We loved the log fire and appreciated when Patrick lit the fire for us prior to arriving back to the lodge after a long day of walking.

“Lovely cabins with a warm welcome”

The cabin we had was really cute and comfortable. The bed was great and there was a spacious kitchen/diner. You can also eat in their main building if you pre-order and we had a really good dinner one night. The location is lovely and tranquil and just 5 mins drive to the park entrance. You can also walk right from the lodge across the gorgeous river valley with views of the mountains. Best of all though is the owner, Patrick, who was so kind and welcoming. He helped us plan every day and looked after us so well.

I had an incredible stay at Konkashken lodge! Everything from the moment I arrived to the day I left was perfect. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully set up for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere and surroundings added so much to the experience—it truly felt like a peaceful escape. Communication with the Patrick was smooth and friendly, making the entire stay effortless. It is just located 800m away from the south entrance of Parque Nacional Torres del Paine so it’s so convenient for us. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!
