The view from the common room was stunning! The location of Goiien House is great, just 20 min walk from the National Park entrance.

Closest hostel outside of TdP park. 1.5km from the Armarga bus station which adds to your walks, unless you can hitchhike (the official buses often stop). No kitchen facilities but they did store our food in their fridge

“Basic but only “cheaper” option near the national park”

It is tricky to review this place fairly because it is expensive for what it is - a bed in a hostel dorm. But given the prices in the national park, it is considered one of the cheaper options. The best thing about the place is therefore the location & the staff who were super helpful. I did also appreciate the breakfast - two slices of toast, hard boiled egg, a slice of ham and cheese, a slice of cake, and you can help yourself to yoghurt, cornflakes & juice. Makes you feel a bit better about having to pay so much for a dorm bed! You can see the towers from the dining room unless it’s too cloudy. Grateful for a previous reviewer who suggested bringing your own instant noodle cups for dinner - that was definitely a good shout.

Setting the right vibe for the environment. Staff very friendly and open to questions. Shout out to the kitchen for their perfectly crisp salmon and homely baked cake.

The manager looked after me so well as a solo traveller , gave me tips every day for different walks and the dinner I had there was the best home made meal I had eaten in Chile! Beautiful Salmon and homemade potato’s. The place was spotless and really cosy and warm with the fires on to dry clothes . I couldn’t agree less with some of the reviews I was really happy here. The breakfast was homemade bread, ham cheese, boiled egg, jam and yoghurt and cereal. As well as coffee and tea . Really grateful for the help and lovely stay here

Goiien house offers a very good value for Torres del Paine. The place is simple, but has all you need. The personnel is very much arranging. There is absolutely a family atmosphere in this place and the proximity allows to meet people. The view on the Torres is stunning.

The location was fantastic for multiple day trips to Torres del Paine. Great views from the dining room. Hot showers. Breakfast included.

I loved the owner/ manager! She was super attentive and helpful! We even all received cute little cards for Valentine’s Day! It was very convenient to get to the park - also without a car!

Hostel is good location to hike Mirador del Torres. By car less than 15 minutes
