Overview
Hotel Areca offers a free spa with pool. It is 5 minutes’ drive from Alicante Airport and 8.5 km from the beach. Alicante city centre is 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi can be found in the spacious, modern rooms at the Areca Hotel. Each room has a work desk and a hairdryer. Facilities at the Areca include the Carabí Restaurant which serves Mediterranean cuisine. There is also a terrace and café-bar. The Areca is just 700 metres from Torrellano Train Station. The town has a range of bars and restaurants. Elche is a 20-minute drive from the hotel and there is free on-site parking.

“Overnight stays in Torrelana”
This is one of many times we have stayed in this hotel. It is a superb location for the airport ,and we often stay when arriving to Spain or leaving .it is a 12 euro taxi trip to the airport and possible to pop back next day to collect your car ( especially on a late flight arrival.) Torrelana has a nice local feel ,and plenty of cafes, bars to have a beer .The hotel staff are always pleasant and welcoming ,and will deal efficiently with any problems or concerns .There is a nice terrace restaurant for dinner .The rooms are well appointed and clean .we complained about one of their interior rooms which lacked light and space and we got a far better room on our return .
