Excellent location, right across the road from Wellesley station and short walk to Bloor-Yonge. Easy access with code or electronic key- no physical key needed! Excellent amenities with more towels etc available if needed

The location of the Sonder was useful and walkable to lots of the good bars and rtestaurants in Toronto but there are quite a few homeless people in the area - just something to be aware of.

“Great location, great option for budget solo traveller who is exploring the city.”

The location is really great. Subway only 1 minute walk and the "times square" of Toronto only a 10 minute walk. Compared to other hotel prices in Toronto this is a good budget option. The room comes with a lot of towels and cleaning and shower products. I was a solo traveller and it was perfect. For a couple it can be a bit small. Online customer support was really helpful and answered within minutes

The room is fine and clean. However, the price seems twice as expensive as some standard brand hotels although it is a self-check airbnb style.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the subway, making it very convenient for transportation. There are also many restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

The property is not secure in two crucial ways. The window frames are broken in rooms on the ground level floor. The frame above the locks are broken and the windows cannot be locked. The frame also falls into the room when you try and close it. The mosquito net is bent inwardly, which all looks as if the room has been broken into from outside. I complained about this immediately. Sonder doesn’t keep any staff at the property, but via a phone call, someone told me that the property wasn’t safe for me to stay in, and I was free to leave with a full refund. However, two days later, they still have not cancelled my booking and I have not received my refund. The second way in which the property is unsafe is that they sent me the access codes to two rooms by mistake, so I could have walked into another room had I chosen to. If you stay at the property your belongings are at Rick of theft both from external access and from other guests who may have been you pass code. This is just an appalling situation and represents a total failure of duty of care on the party of this company.
