In our bedroom air conditioning didn't work at all when it was the most expected (summer wave heat). Sweated all night and had a shower in the middle or the night to feel better.

“Ok for one night”
Great breakfast. Nice location right next to the river. Mini fridge in the room to store drinks. Kettle for coffee and tea in the room. Short walk to Rajalla shopping centre, Haparanda/Tornio bus station and Haparanda IKEA.

“Unhygienic, neglected and expensive”
I had high expectations for this hotel given its 4-star rating and the price point, but unfortunately, the stay was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the black mold in the bathroom, which is absolutely unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone one that charges this much and claims to maintain high standards. For the cost, I expected a clean, well-maintained room, but the presence of mold made the experience feel unhygienic and neglected. This kind of issue seriously undermines the hotel's credibility and makes you question the overall upkeep and attention to detail. It's a real shame because the location and some aspects of the hotel had potential, but cleanliness and health standards must come first, especially at this price range. I would not recommend staying here until they address these serious maintenance issues.

Beds were comfy and breakfast was excellent. Sauna had a perfect temperature but the whole pool/sauna area definitely need a big update.

“A great stay in a charming city at the door of Sweden.”
We booked a superior double room and we were given a triple room so it was really big ! The room was perfectly clean, a lot of space in the bathroom, and I particularly enjoyed the free hygiene products : what an amazing smell !! Delicious breakfast with lots of options, sweet or salty !!
