Our family stayed at Lujo last year, we decided to try something new this year and give Rixos a try based on the photos and reviews.The photos are super misleading. And we realized that the positive reviews must have been given by people that got upgraded in exchange for a positive review. Parts of the property grounds at Rixos are run down and not maintained. The room we were given was old and not in good shape, it had a musty, mold smell. I am guessing there are some renovated rooms and that is why there is such a discrepancy between reviews and our experience. The Godiva cafe serves low quality desserts and they get away with naming it a Godiva cafe by putting Godiva boxes on display. I had thought it would actually serve Godiva chocolate desserts when booking as when we had stayed at Lujo Hotel their cafe had white and milk chocolate fountains with fresh fruit and berries where you can serve yourself (not to mention the free endless Moet and Chandon Champagne ) Furthermore, the products in the shower dispensers at Rixos are of the lowest quality…and the body wash dispenser was empty during the whole stay. (At Lujo my daughter received a children’s organic line of bath products and bubble bath wash especially for her..) Temps get super chilly in May at night (not the hotel’s fault) but they don’t allow you to adjust temperature in rooms to your comfort level. The hotel sets the same temperature for everyone and we were very cold at night. Out of all of the rooms available, they put us in a room where they were welding the rusty, metal staircase right next to our room during our entire time there. I understand maintenance work on a property this large has to be done, but do not put your guests in rooms where you have that very LOUD repair work being done. People come on vacation to relax. Our stay was uncomfortable and did not feel like a vacation.

“Lovely hotel and staff”

Me and my partner have just returned from a stunning stay at Rixos Premium Bodrum. The hotel the grounds are beautiful, with crystal-clear turquoise water that's just as good as the photos. There's a great balance of things to do on offer and quiet spots to relax, so it suits whatever mood you're in. Watching the afternoon sun at Godiva or reading in the Terrace bar was a personal fave. The food and drinks were excellent across the board - high-quality cocktails and a wide variety of options, including some lovely local wine options. Not every à la carte restaurant was open as we visited out of peak season, but honestly it didn't matter. The food at Turquoise was so good we ended up skipping going out for meals in Bodrum altogether. The location is ideal if, like us, you want to mix relaxing with exploring - Bodrum old town is only about a 15-minute cab ride away. A special thank you to Guest Relations Agents Sultan and Hira. They were warm and friendly, checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well, answered any questions quickly, and made booking hotel activities really easy. They also went above and beyond to resolve an issue we had with our original room and made sure we were completely looked after. Their service genuinely made the stay even better. Would happily return.

The service is crazy good. They look out for you, have a separate WhatsApp chat where you can raise questions. The beach and amenities are great. The Choice and quality of food is also amazing.

The hotel was fantastic from the moment you walked in, with beautiful uninterrupted views across the bay. The food was excellent, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were amazing throughout. Zoltan and Hira were both outstanding and clearly have a fantastic team around them. The pool, beach and gym were all great, and there was honestly very little reason to leave the hotel.

We recently returned from a five-night stay at Rixos Bodrum, and wanted to share how exceptional our experience was. From the moment we arrived, the level of service stood out. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our stay was comfortable. The food throughout the resort was outstanding. There was an impressive variety of high-quality options across all dining venues, and every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Whether at the buffet or specialty restaurants, the standard remained consistently high. Room service was equally excellent—prompt, reliable, and delivered with the same level of care and professionalism as the rest of the hotel. Initially, we experienced an issue with our room, including a cooling problem and a fuse fault that caused a temporary power outage. However, once this was brought to the attention of the management team, they responded swiftly and professionally, upgrading us to a renovated villa. This thoughtful gesture and quick resolution truly reflected their commitment to guest satisfaction. The room itself was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the stay. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend Rixos Bodrum to others looking for a high-quality, relaxing getaway. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. In particular Hira who was always available and attentive. We got an upgrade on our second room so our neighbour, to whom we gifted the stay, could be close to us. We also got an extra late check out at an excellent rate because our flight home was really late. Hira arranged all this. She is a star.

1) Location The location is beautiful. The hotel is situated on a hill, so the views are amazing. You can enjoy the beach, go for walks, and it’s a great place for photos and Instagram reels. 2) Price & Accessibility The price is reasonable compared to other resorts in Bodrum. It’s also conveniently located not far from the airport, which makes travel easy.

The hotel had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nice. A special shout out to Hira who was so attentive and lovely our entire stay and she really made it special.

We just got back from Rixos and we loved it. The food was delicious, the staff were so professional and attentive. We would definitely come back again. We would like to give a special shoutout to Youssef at the Kids Club, he was so kind to my children, looked after them and did the activities with them.
