Beautiful family farm in picturesque countryside. Well equiped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Welcoming garden environment. Easy to find on Google maps with convenient parking available.

We liked the fact that the location is rural and the apartment is part of what used to be a working farm. We were on a two week tour prior to our visit here. It was a welcome and and enjoyable change from hotels and urban environments. The chickens and the pheasant in the front yard were a bonus. The location was central to the areas we wanted to visit. On successive days we visited Hof and the Eidsfoss Iron Works Museum, the Heddal Stave Church and the Kongsberg Church, and then Munch's Asgardstrand and Tonsberg. All were within reasonable driving distance.

Cute and cosy accomodation with fireplace and firewood - perfect for winter travels. The appartment has a well-equipped kitchen, floor-heating, a washing machine, a comfortable bed in a small niche, for large people there is a sofa bed. The appartment is clean and lovingly decorated - its perfect for solo travellers (I traveled with my dog) or couples. Hege & Espen are wonderful hosts. I was lucky to spend christmas with them and they recommended great ski trails for me to try out. I would love to come back in summer :-)

“Nice facility with nice hosts in remote location”

Very nice remote farm location. Very Nice hosts. We had a bad winterstorm with lots of snow and decided to stay an extra night. Hosts were very helpful.

It was warm, clean, beautiful location and had decent wifi for its isolated location. Absolutely beautiful in the snow. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful!!

If you would like to experience norway style, quiet in nature, with very kind host and very positive energy...that is what we got it. Very nice details, next to forest in former farm.

“A brief but wonderful stay, idyllic indeed, 100% recommend!”

As the name states, it really is idyllic! After a full day in Oslo, we arrived at 21:30 and was greeted by the lovely host, who showed us around and invited us to join him and his wife at the fire outside. It was a wonderful way to see the night in, having chats and a drink by the fire, before an early start / ferry the next day! I just wish we could’ve stayed longer! The place was cosy, clean, well equipped, had everything you would need and even eggs for the morning from the chickens on the farm itself! Thank you so much for the hospitality !
