The owners are actively involved and very helpful The building is architectually designed so the rooms feel light and spacious The room is excetionally clean There are numerous local seafood restaurants all delicious. Also a few lovely coffee shops nearby incuding in the hotel. Across the road is a cultural centre Which is larger than it looks show casing the hand made furniture and linen and bags made by local artisans The cable car to the most magnificent few is also in walking distance. The harbour cruise terminal is across the road. It is the perfect spot in a beautiful place. Will be back.

Very clean, comfortable and modern. The owners are so kind and really helpful. A little bit outside of the city but the busses are frequent and stop right outside. A great location especially if you are exploring the surrounding area by car.

Our stay was exceptional. The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. However, the availability of transport was great. Buses went past the door frequently and taxis were quickly available with a phone call. The accommodation was really great and so clean in the rooms. As the property is fairly new, the bedding and bathroom facilities were great. The owner was so attentive to our needs in the accommodation. Often going out of her way in recommending the area tourist attractions and local restaurants. Even to the point of assisting us to reach the destination. To cap everything off, we discovered the owner made the best, yes the best coffee in Tongyeong. We will not hesitate in staying there again and recommending to our friends.

What a hidden gem in Tong Yeong! A very clean and contemporary property, 20 min away from the city center, giving you a nice stay without crowd and noises.

Very clean and minimalist setting. Bathroom/shower, especially, were of the best quality. Good location away from rustle and hustle, if any, of the city. Host was very nice and kind. If you're lucky as we were, you may enjoy her fantastic cookies for free! ...until the ground floor turns into a cafe.

“An architectural gem”

We had a wonderful time at Laon on 37. During this trip we realized how rewarding is to stay at guest houses. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, sharing their knowledge of the area. We got great tips for excursions and places to eat. You will stay in a beautifully designed seismic architecture space. The rooms are so clean that it felt luxurious! with gentle scents of the different soaps, views to the musical hall and the mountain behind. Very good coffee in the morning is the perfect touch! We did not have a car but managed quite well without one. The guesthouse is very close to the cable car and a lovely bike path along the coastline. The bus stop is just in front and taxis are available. We would happily stay here again (and again)!

“A comfortable and relaxing stay in Tongyeong”

Laon is a small and comfortable hotel run by Ms Lee Hui Soon and her husband, a wonderful and kind couple. The room we stayed in previously and on this trip is spick and span, almost new with a good big bed,good quality fittings and fixtures. There's a cafe on site and Ms Lee makes very good coffee as well as bread, cakes and cookies. Both husband and wife are very hospitable, welcoming and generous. Thank you for a very comfortable and relaxing stay in Tongyeong.

Very good service. The couple who manages the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Service was beyond compare. She helped us with our laundry and also guided us to a beautiful park for sunset. Much appreciated. Room was of a good size and very comfortable and clean.

It was clean and neat with a. exceptional interior. The bed was really comfy. The staff, rather the owner, was really kind and helpful. Also, they served one of the most tasteful cappuccino I’ve ever had in recent years.

Everything was perfect and beyond our expectations. The room was very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and there was modern furniture. The building is brand new and the interior design is beautiful. The owner is very kind and lovely. We called her late night to get a kettle and just 1 minute later she gave it to us. In the morning, the owner prepared a delicious cafe and homemade muffin and we had a great chat together. I will definitely save this place and visit again. :)
