Outstanding place, the best yurt camp you can imagine. Also suitable to stay in colder days because yurts has heating (also floor heating!) and private bathroom without need to going out. Super comfortable! On top of that you have nice area with viewpoint to the lake and great restaurant. 10/10 place, really. Highlight of our stay in Kyrgyzstan

“Very clean and comfortable accomodation at the lake”

We had two yurts next to each other, each of them had its own shower and toilet. The yurts were nicely furnishe, clean and stayed warm enough during the night. The beds were comfortable. There was regular buffet breakfast in the morning(tee, coffee; porridge; eggs; marmalade; butter; bread etc). The staff was helpful and the osners could speak English.

“It was just an excellent experience”

The time between the first time we entered the hotel and the time we left was an extraordinary experience for us. The “yurts” were much cleaner than we expected. Also toilets and bathrooms were private for per room and were very very clean. The hotel staff and owners took excellent care of our every need. The food was absolutely delicious. I especially recommend you not to leave without trying their manti. When you leave the hotel, you can reach Issyk Lake with a 2-3 minute walk, or if you go in the opposite direction, you can reach the canyon entrance with a 2-3 minute walk. I think I should also mention how pleasant the view of the canyon from one side and the lake from the other is at the hotel. We had the most enjoyable time of our Kyrgyzstan trip here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering coming to the Issyk region and staying there.

“Price- quality don't match”

Location is unbeatable and it is the only place that close to the Skazka Canyon, which is very convenient. WiFi works great, the network in the area isn't great so this is very handy.

It’s very comfortable and warm yurt. We were in October and we had the heater inside. The breakfast was good. And also we used the barbecue. I recommend this place.

“Perfect yurt experience”

We had the best time at Royal gate. The yurts are very cosy and incredibly clean. It's a real luxury having a proper warm bathroom. The view of the lake is beautiful and the location near to the canyon is ideal. We stayed 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. The food is also very good and came in good time. The owner speaks excellent English and is very helpful!

“Nice location, but not enough value for the money”

- The localisation couldn’t be better, directly at the gate of the canyon. - the food was very good even if we expected a bit more for the breakfast. - Very nice settings, directly at the lake, very nice idea! - The owner was really nice, helpful and lovely.

At the entrance to skazka canyon, clean and quiet yurts with private toilets and shower with hot water. Owners are kind and very helpful.

Great stay if you visit skazka canyons and want to pass through south of yssyk kul. I would recommend the stop! The breakfast was fine and the dinner (not included ) also covered our needs! Its an amazing view an dgood place to stay.

We first thought: how can a accommodation score a 10/10? But since our visit we understand why. Amazing location, beautiful and super clean yurt, realllllly lovely staff and very good food. We loved our stay and we recommend everyone to stay here when visiting the Skazka canyon.
