A great little yurt camp. Good food and friendly people. Has a bar for drinks and very clean washing facilities. Only a minute from the beach.

I had a great stay at Bel Tam. I wanted to stay in a yurt for a night but got so much more, with a lovely local mean served in the evening with all the other guests staying in the facility, topped with traditional dances and music from a lovely family. A great chance to experience Kyrgyz cuisine, culture and also to meet fellow travelers. Location is good too, with Issyk Kul being just a 2 mins walk away, making it really easy to walk by the shore or even take a dip in the lake. Would definitely recommend!

The pictures are misleading, the yurt camp is not on the lake directly, there are yurt camps that are closer. This place seems to be popular just because they have some deals with tour operators from bishkek and they bring groups who just landed in Kyrgyzstan and have no clue on how it actually is. They serve the buffet breakfast on a non covered table, if you arrive just 10 minutes after the start of breakfast, everything is already cold! Dinner was a big scam, you pay 10 USD dollars for a very mediocre dinner on tables that are so sticky and haven't been cleaned for I don't know how many days. All in all I would definitely not recommend

“Super nice place!!!”
The staff is going all the extra miles ... we enjoyed our stay at Bel Tam immensely and would stay there again anytime we are in the area. Everything was beyond our expectations: staff super friendly and helpful, food very delicious, camp very nice set up and comfy. We also were able to experience traditional concerts at this place.

“Ok but there are better options around”
We stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom and we enjoyed the comfort after a long stay in the country. Right beside the lake so it has a nice view but access to the lake is not comfortable.

Nice spot, with a very, very efficient staff. Everyone is always ready to help or answer question. They booked a horse-riding and massages for us. The view on the lake is great, and the yourts are next to modern showers and toilets.

“Best location, breakfast and affordable”
I always wanted to stay in a yurt camp whenever I thought of making the trip to Kyrgyzstan and Bel Tam camp was a great choice. I booked the tent with a private bathroom that also had the lake view and could experience the stunning sunrise. The entire tent was made of clay and natural equipment that makes you feel the nature. Fantastic breakfast and the price extremely affordable for the facilities.

“Beautiful location”
Great location (little hard to get to if don’t have a car/not on a tour but definitely doable using buses and taxis) right on the lake, yurts with pretty comfortable beds and power. Dining room is big and dinners were really good, showers clean and plenty of room, toilets also mostly clean. Staff friendly, organised dancing and local music show. Was able to borrow a beach umbrella which was great as no shade down at the lake. Staff ordered me a taxi when I left.
