We had an excellent stay at ST COSMO Inn. The place was very convenient, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with most of the necessities, which made our trip much more comfortable.

It makes me feel like home. If you looking to have a space with your friends or family members, strongly recommend this place whereby you can BBQ and the house is able to accommodate quite a number of people.

Cosmo st Inn, Noboribetsu After Sapporo this is our second holiday stop, 3 days 5 nights, a more traditional kinda style Inn, so to speak, a semi D type house nestled between other home owners on a fairly quiet side street in Noboribetsu. You can hear the highway noise, from not too far, even the sea at night. A two storied house, with enough beds to sleep a family of 10, a tatami room for those inclined to sleep more the Japanese way (the nicest room of the lot, rest all super cramped! The first impression was that of a really strong musty smell when entering the house, something we highlighted to the operators, but ok for a three day stay! Still……. Wifi is wonky, need to find & reset the router! My goodness! Be careful with roaming charges! Living room spacious, plenty of seats and chairs, medium sized TV by today’s standards, an outdoor terrace style wooden deck with cover and a BBQ for those inclined to use! (I actually sat out there whenever we were in) The bath a challenge with separate sink area, washer etc. kinda weird set up, but worked out ok! Shower was excellent! Toilet, you better be slim, super tight and no fan! Sigh…. Looked really old! The kitchen large but only 2 gas burners, yet all other gadgets available, (found 3 more portable ones hidden on top of shelf) microwave. Toaster, boiler, etc etc! Tons of chinaware, glasses and so on, but hardly any teaspoons! Fridge decent size, basic pantry items available, but most jars haven’t been cleaned on ages! We decided to sleep on the ground floor double bed bedroom, beds comfy, aircon somewhat noisy! Also to note, only a single overly bright light on the ceiling, NO bedside lamps! 😢 Over all the place was ok, but really aged, full with all kinds of little nick knacks, giving it, despite spacious a cluttered kind of feel. Would we come back? To the city for sure, the place to stay? Probably search a bit more! Price fairly high, but if a family of 10 would travel definitely worth!

We are little worried about staying at this house as previous guest had a bad review but it’s value for money and we just have a great experience! The house itself maybe old but it is well renovated, it looks very clean and cozy! And so spacious! Our family just love that! It’s very convenient location, only 3min walk from JR Noboribetsu station, very convenient to get the onsen street by bus. If you arrive Noboribetsu station late you may have difficulty to find restaurants you like, many of them close earlier like 7pm, better to check the restaurant earlier, you also can buy stuffs at the convenience store nearby. No need to worry to book this accommodation, strongly recommended:) We will come back here next time.
