“Pleasant enough, but sadly lacking in other ways”
The location is beautiful, very shady, lots of trees and plants, green and lush, and it's a lovely old building. The room was lovely, really cool and spacious with character, and four poster bed. Nice bathroom, everything was clean. Lovely shady, quiet courtyard, Nice pool but didn't use it. Plenty of parking space. Good aircon, and shutters, so nice and peaceful at night.

“Great stay”
Lovely property situated next to the river in quiet village. If you’re looking for peace, definitely will find it there. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem which I highly appreciate.

“Great hotel full of atmosphere, loved every minute of it!”
What a beautiful hotel! I absolutely LOVED my stay and wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back :) Beautiful, clean, big room (I had room 24), very comfy bed, perfect room temperature, amazing location on walking distance to the centre of Tolox (10 min walk, a nice walk!), super friendly staff, cute courtyard full of Spanish atmosphere. Nice pool with comfy sunbeds. Beautiful natural surroundings.

“Totally enjoyable”
The location was perfect however the breakfast,lunch evening meal was late. The staff were very helpful and the swimming pool was great. Very. peaceful.

“Lovely, charming, tranquil hotel in the Spanish hills.”
Excellent for solo travellers, walkers or anyone looking for peace and quiet. It is cool beneath the eucalyptus trees and pool area also has enough shade. May have some families in school holidays when the nearby spa is open as children and adults use it for respiratory infections/asthma etc.

“It was my second stay here and hopefully will not be my last”
Breakfast was basic but all that was needed and very cheap. A more elaborate breakfast was available. The hotel felt comfortable and friendly and has a lovely peaceful atmosphere

It's a very nice and calm place, the hotel is situated in the old and beautiful garden - I didn't even know it can be so green in Andalucia. A very special place with a history. Usually default hotels we've been in the province were noisy and people don't sleep and are loud until very late. This one is NOT. We were looking for a calm place to rest in nature and this is definitely the one! The garden is beautiful and atmosphere is very nice.

“Very pleasant”
It is difficult to rate this hotel as it was part of a spa and like a sanitorium where people went with various ailments.There was a doctor's surgery in the reception The hotel was really peaceful. The average age of residents was very high when we were there. However, the staff were really friendly, the grounds were lush and green, our room very comfortable and the surrounding area beautiful. If you like to walk, the area is fantastic for hiking.
