“Perfect Family time with grown-up kids”

We had perfect days in Planina Lom. Thank you Barbara and Milan for the great Welcome and for offering so complete equipment at Holiday Home. It was a perfect start for our mountain hikes and a great place to relax in the evenings with Barbecue and quality time far away from mass tourism. The driving up the mountain can be a bit challenging, for us it was totally okay, even fun. We would recommend this Location for guests who were in the area before and do not want to do activities in the Valley every day. The altitude difference between Valley and Planina is about 900 mtrs.

“Perfect cabin in the middle of the woods”

Perfect cabin in the middle of the forest! Bbq in the yard with plenty of wood to use. Lots of trails just by the cabin to mountain hiking in triglav national park. 1km away sheperds sold homemade cheese and cow milk (delicious!). Small house but very well equiped.

The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful reatreat in the mountains. The cottage has evereything you need and the host was very friendy and helpful. We loved the views and have enjoyed the locarion very much

“We will be back!”

Perfect location for an escape into nature! We were surrounded by beautiful mountains, cows and sweet nothingness. Honestly, it’s worth more than a 5 stars hotel if you have more than a million stars above you. We especially enjoyed the sweetness of our hosts Barbara and Miran.

“Perfect get-away location in the mountains”

It is a perfect get-away location if you need some air to breathe, silence and the closeness of nature. For us, it was a bit tricky to get to the location because of the narrow mountain roads but I think you can get used to it. The place was perfectly silent among high mountains from where you can take as many trails as you wish. This place is perfect for hiking, running, be alone in silence. The home is clean and cozy, you have plenty of wood to make fire and warm water. The beds were comfortable and warm. In the kitchen we found everything we needed to make good dishes. It is worth to take some warm clothes as well beacuse it can get a bit cold in the mountains despite that in the city it is hot. Our host were nice and helpful.

“Heaven on Earth”

Our host Barbara and Miran were very nice. We agreed to meet them very easily and we followed to the location of the house. The house itself, teh location, everything around...was just breathtaking. My firts words were "this is heaven". If you are searching for peace and quite, untouched nature, fresh air, and overall freedom...this is a place for you. Not so far from the town Tolmin where you can find the grocery stores and restaurants (cca. 20 minutes with the car downhill) but far enough that you can connect again with the nature. We loved every minute and we were very sad when we had to leaave. Hope to come again soon. And for us there was an extra bonus, at the same time when we were there the farmers brought the cows who walking around near the house, eating peacefully and ringing with thier cow bells.

Wonderful and welcoming hosts who help us find the house the first time and welcomed us with some food and schnapps’. It’s is an escape into nature and a different pace, the road is twisty to get there but alright.
