Overview
Located along the South West coast of Madagascar, 13 km from Toliara, Auberge de la Table offers an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and garden. The Toliara Airport is 4 km away. The individually decorated bungalows have mosquito nets and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. At Auberge de la Table restaurant features local products, seafood and grills. Guests can relax and enjoy a drink in the lounge bar. Other facilities offered include a gift shop offering local crafts and products, as well as a library. The Arboretum d'Antsokay is located on the same grounds and activities in the surrounding area include hiking and bird watching. Night tours at the Arboretum can be organised to observe nocturnal lemurs. The hotel offers free WiFi in public areas and private parking is available on site. The lodge is off-grid and is entirely solar powered.

“Go here it is excellent”
Staff were excellent, the food was very tasty, hotel grounds and room were beautiful. There is an arboretum which is really worth a visit. We stayed just one night and since our journey had taken 3 flights and 29 hours we didn't do the "night walk". We missed seeing mouse lemurs! I would recommend the night walk which can be done just when it is dark - so in June after 6 pm. We visited in the day and it was good. Nice birds/plants. The hotel is out of town but for a relaxing few days / 2 or 3 nights for a chill out is a great place to stay. We would go back.

Excellent breakfast, continental with good bread and eggs. Fruit yogurt honey etc Free entrance at 7 am into the Arboretum if you stay which is a must do

We loved Auberge de la Table and can highly recommend it. The family bungalow was spacious and has tasteful decoration. One sleeps right next to the Arboretum. Food was great. Staff very welcoming. We will be back!

We stayed here for one night after a flight from Antananarivo to break up the journey to Isalo. It completely exceeded our expectations and we could have stayed longer. It is a lovely hotel with gardens, the bungalows are so pretty and clean and very comfortable and a lovely dinner! The staff were friendly and helpful, we particularly enjoyed our night walk to see the mouse lemurs with our guide who spoke great English and new everything about the plants and animals we saw. Thank you!

The best part of the trip was the amazing tour of Jeanto. He guided us for an entire day with a lot of passion about everything he knows about the area. He is an expert in the flora and fauna of the place and loves telling about it and he is able to combine this with many jokes and laughes that brighten up your entire day!

There was two vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had the pasta with tomato sauce was pretty good. And apparently the goats cheese there is supposed to be very good. I’ll try that next time I’m there.

The staff is welcoming, the rooms and restaurant are spacious and very well-kept, modern, clean and fancy. The place is about 13 km from the city centre but the hotel is located in a beautiful and very peaceful setting which is much better than the centre. Quality-price exceptional! Highly recommended!
