“Met my expectations and in some aspects - exceeded!”
Breakfast was average. while the room is very room. Anyway, expected and barely enough for sleeping purpose. the staff are helpful and willing to give extra assistance. The Happy Hour arrangement is good.

“Relatively quiet for a busy hotel, enjoyable onsen and welcome drinks”
Surprisingly (relatively) quiet for a busy hotel. The bunk bed at the top was very useful as extra storage space, given how small Japanese hotel rooms are. Free alcoholic welcome drinks in the lobby in the evenings! A microwave on every floor, useful for someone who buys food from convenience stores. The onsen was spacious and relaxing.

Loved that it was a very clean and easy to get to the property. Staff were very lovely. We loved using the onsen. We also loved that you could choose your own pillow. They also had a bar in the lobby, so you could make free drinks. My partner loved that. We will be staying here again.

“Good and cheap place in Ikebukuro!”
The room sizes were a bit too small, specially when you carry big baggages like the ones we were carrying! Apart from that, everything was okay! The staff was kind all the time and helpful, always putting new sets of clean towels outside the rooms and drinking water! Also the room was warm and very quiet! It's a small walk from the hotel to the Ikebukuro Station (10 mins max) which makes it convenient to get anywhere you want!

“They had free sake 7pm untill 10pm and the Onsen was wet so much fun ;))”
The location is spot on. The room? Cosy enough to make a sardine jealous, but spotless and stocked with everything one could need. The staff were lovely and spoke such perfect Japanese that I felt inspired to butcher the language in their honour while attempting to learn it.

The hotel is really money for value. Their coin laundry is really good and convenient. Reception is very helpful. They helped us to call the car rental company about our delay to return car. Thanx very much. Room is small but that is expected.

Everyone on duty at front desk speaks fluent English, very kind and makes us feel like home. Water/ sparkling/ cocktails are provided at the lobby. The hotel is like less than 10 minutes walking from the station and there are 2 family mart and 1 Lawson around, super convenient!

“Superb!”
Staff attempted to repair my luggage which has a wheel broken by the time I arrived at Super Hotel Lohas. Even though the wheel eventually dropped off and I had to buy a new one, I greatly appreciate that the hotel staff attempted to repair it with super glue. Thank you so much. Additionally, hotel staff was kind enough to help receive packages delivered to the hotel before I check in. They received the package and organised it such that I could get it upon arrival. Staff was also helpful with the laundry service when I was clueless about how to operate the machine. Onsen was unique with fizzy soda-like water.
