Opened in December 2013 and situated right at the heart of the lively Kabuki-cho area in Shinjuku, Granbell Hotel offers modern and stylish guest rooms with unique design concepts. The property added new rooms in December of 2016. Higashi-shinjuku Subway Station is just a 4-minute walk away, while JR Shinjuku Station East Exit is a 15-minute walk from the property. “Enjoyed the stay and great amenities”
Loved the extra touches, the cleaning service was immaculate. We got fresh towels, linen and even nightgowns everyday! Felt fancy! The location is on the outskirts of the red light district which can be avoidable but was still there if you wanted to go. Close to Golden Gai for drinks and nightlife. Good options for train stations and main station only 11 minutes walk

“good stay for the money”
room was average size for Japan, washroom clean, everything good. self service check in and out. the Location is 9 min walk from the gozzila hotel in the middle of the action. there are more hotels around this one, is like a corner of hotels , however the actions is very close. and trains are not far at all

“Good value for money, especially for Tokyo!”
Hotel is located in a quiet street in Shinjuku area, however still fairly close to the busy area 10-15 mins walk. Hotel was clean , staff were polite, and the provided toiletries were great! We also had a complimentary bottle of wine and water & green tea refilled every day as well as full cleaning & refilling service of the room every day! Rooftop bar has a lovely view, cocktails were not great but smoking is allowed. We also had breakfast which was the usual buffet but overall was more than enough options to start the day with. We stayed in the junior suite on the 15th floor and it was exactly as shown in the photos!

“Good position, great for a longer stay, good room service”
We liked the location, which is right in the Shinjuku area. If you plan trips outside of Tokio, Shinjuku train station is often the starting point so it is convinient that it is close. The room service was good and breakfast as well.
