Staff was friendly and helpful. The place is super clean and organized. Staff wiped down our luggage when we arrived so you know they are serious about cleanliness. Room was spacious and had the amenities we needed. I prefer a firm bed so this was perfect and comfortable.

It was the best place where we stayed in Japan. Thank you so much for your beautiful ryokan and the way you take care of it and of guests. It was also a great location, on calm part of Tokyo, but still so close to the big city. Very good! We enjoyed our evening routine for having an ice cream on paths by the river, that is just next to the ryokan. We loved everything and definitely would come back.

Lovely place to stay in Tokyo! The neighborhood was so much fun to explore. Also with the station so close you could go anywhere quickly. Highly recommend!

“An authentic and great value Ryokan experience.”

My Japanese style single room gave me a very affordable experience of staying in a traditional Japanese inn. Ryokan Sansuiso is centrally located to the Gotanda railway station on the Yamanote line, the Sumida river with its lovely walkways and an upmarket shopping area with great food choices. The family who run the inn couldn't do enough to help - calling taxis and providing great food recommendations. The Japanese bath and the very stylish Yukata and Haori was much appreciated as well as the little touches of daily hot water and rice cracker.

Good location gives opportunity to travel in different directions. Very nice place to stay, even one night. Japanese style hot bath is a one of a kind to recovery from all day walking on streets of Tokyo.

The hosts were super nice and helpful! It‘s in a rather unvisitied neighbourhood wich makes it a little less busy and quiet. It was very very clean and had everything you needed! The matts were super comfortable as well!

The staff were lovely and even held my bag for me the day of my departure. The room was picturesque and cosy, and they even provided a comfortable yukata on top of other sundries.

“Special Inn in middle of the city”

It was lucky to have sakura literally outside of the Ryokan. It was so pretty! I ride a taxi to get there, but it is pretty much very close to Gotanda station, an excellent location. In the inn, there is a nice bath and showers. Most importantly, I slept well!

Staff are friendly and really helpful. Room is comfortable, spacious, and has a really nice traditional japanese vibe. There're two shared shower rooms, two toilets and a bathroom. So even though they are shared, we've never had to wait. Also the location is right next to the Gotanda Waterfront Plaza. Makes it an excellent stay if you are going for the cherryblossom view by the Meguro River.

Tiny room with tatami and futon. Shared facilities but very, very, very clean. Location is actually superb, not very touristy and looks quite authentic. Very nice staff. And - yes, special slippers for toilet only. ❤️ It's like they give you a taste of everything.

Loved our stay. Staff were very helpful and the onset was great

I stayed for ten days and I slept amazing for those ten days. After that I slept on regular beds and I could tell the difference. The room was ample with plenty space to keep my luggage open, the service was kind and I loved the different types of showers and baths. I loved that one shower had a heater inside! It was well located, a nice short walk to the station!
