Great location, friendly and good value

“Perfect stay in a beautiful family-run inn”

We loved our spacious traditional-style room. It was perfect for our group of three. The futon beds were extremely comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally lovely and helpful, assisting us with storing our luggage before and after our check out. It is a small family-run inn, with a very warm, welcoming vibe. There is shared shower and toilet, which is always very clean. The location was fantastic, a short walk to Ueno Park and many delicious restaurants, and museums. It is a great place to stay to explore Tokyo, with access to beautiful green trees in the park, as well all the exciting busy attractions of Tokyo. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Tokyo.

Comfy Japanese beds and the local feel of the place. It was in a quiet area and close to Ueno station(15 min walk) and Nezu station(7min) The owners were welcoming, helpful and cleaned the bedroom regularly. We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathroom. Area for coffee teas and to eat and drink downstairs. Small microwave and oven available. Washing machine that took 4000yen and dryer that could be used

“True city ryokan experience in excellent location.”

Very classical small family run ryokan, with the typical small rooms with poor sound insulation and quite barren room. This really gives you the "true" city ryokan experience, though no single Japanese guest was staying here. As always, the host family was welcoming. We also got a great tip for a local public bath (since the ryokan has none). Nice area to walk around in, and also not far from several nice parks!

Staff and Food drink

It was a wonderful place, it had everything I needed! Close to the train stations and food nearby! Also Ueno zoo and Ueno park were close! The room was quite spacious enough even for two people, very informative hosts as well!

Traditional style ryokan, conveniently located but in a quiet part of Tokyo. Close to Ueno station, handy for shinkansen connections, and even closer to Nezu station. Very large rooms, clean, and tea provided.

It was a quiet and tidy Ryokan with lots of space compared to typical Tokyo accomodation. Conveniently located close to Ueno Station but out of the hustle.
