“Perfect for solo travellers - highly recommend!”

This was my first experience in a hostel and I am so glad I went to NBH. The place is so well equipped and Satoshi takes great care of everyone who is staying there. There were many recommendations on things to do and places to dine at! I felt so at home speaking to other travellers and it felt like Satoshi truly thought about everything to make sure you’re comfortable. The rooms were perfect and the beds were so comfy and clean. Bathrooms are very clean and the shared living space was so nice to sit and relax at. Bonus is that there is a free breakfast, Lawsons is literally a 10 second walk away and the train station connects you to everywhere. I loved staying here so much and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Proper hostel. Loved it - it is a walk from Gotanda but that means it’s a really nice and chill neighbourhood. Great when you need a break from the bustle of Tokyo. Satoshi does EVERYTHING to help you too - thanks again and see you next time!

I really loved the welcome — the service was excellent, and our host was incredibly helpful and pleasant. He recommended all the best spots in the neighborhood, and they were all great suggestions. It’s easy to enjoy some quiet time in your room, but you can also seek out sociability and good vibes in the common area! I honestly don’t have a single negative point to mention!

Cute and cosy little hostel in Ebara. Very clean and comfortable. Shower and toilets are clean and well maintained. Cooking and laundry facilities available. Owner and staff are considerate and very helpful. Beds are cosy and private.

Amazing hostel, if not one of the best places you can stay in Tokyo. Extremely clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. On top of that, the staff and owner are super nice and always glad to help. The hostel is small, but there's no stairs, enough room for luggage, and it's cozy too. I had a long stay at this hostel and made some incredible friends while I was here!

It is one of the cutest hostels I have stayed. The location is very good, easy to get around but quiet and the owner of the hostel is very friendly and kind, it was also clean and well taken care of.

Super small, coazy hostel. The owner is sooo friendly and helpful. Buy food at the local market near ist so good. Also you get a small breakfast. It was perfect.

“My personal favorite hostel in Tokyo 🥰”

This is by far the best hostel I’ve been in Tokyo! Satoshi takes good care of his place, it’s clean, super super well equiped (He literally thought about everything!) He takes time to explain everything in details and makes you feel welcome from the very beginning. He has fresh drinks in the fridge right when you arrive for free available! It makes such a good difference. The space invite you to talk to others and I slept very well ( those noiseproof doors are fabulous!)

“Quiet and friendly hostel”

Satoshi (the owner) and the other staff are lovely. Satoshi in particular was incredibly helpful taking the time out of his day to help me (and other guests) ship a lot of goods from the Japan back to Australia. The hostel is small and only has I think 10 beds. So it's nice if you enjoy a quiet and friendly atmosphere. The free breakfast foods are also very appreciated, espicially after a big night out.
