“A gem of a stay in Takanawa”
Good sized for Tokyo standards. Modern and accessible. There's a great daifuku place nearby that had been visited by the Emperor and Empress. Supermarket and large Matsumoto Kiyoshi within walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood is great for families, felt like a local.

“Basic but fine for a few nights”
Plenty of room for our family group of 4 adults (not recommended for 6), good kitchen area and bathroom, basic but absolutely fine for a few nights. Close to an underground station. Fast communication with host. Cheaper option than 2 hotel rooms.

Small but presumably quite authentic little house. Ok to sleep with a family of 6, but tight and limited privacy. Easy walking distance to metro. Washing machine was very useful. Wifi worked pretty well.

Lots of space. Huge apartment for Japan. Really quiet neighbourhood and lovely neighbours. Great location. Easy walk to metro. Restaurants, chemists, supermarket, convenience stores and shops all within easy walking distance.
