I was disappointed that we were not allowed to check in even though our room was already ready. I understand that the standard check-in time is after 3pm, in case rooms are not prepared yet. However, it is difficult to understand why early check-in is not permitted when the room is available unless an additional fee is paid. Many guests arrive after long, tiring flights, and being able to check in a bit earlier would make a big difference. This experience made me feel that the hotel is not very flexible or considerate of guests’ needs and does not make enough effort to provide a more comfortable and convenient arrival experience.

“Clean and Well Located, but Some Disappointments”

The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and in a very convenient location. The staff was generally polite, and the property itself looked exactly as expected. However, our room did not have the window shown in the photos. Instead, there was only a frosted glass panel, which meant there was almost no natural daylight in the room. This was quite disappointing and made the room feel much smaller and less comfortable than expected. Additionally, due to severe weather conditions, our return flight was disrupted and we had to spend extra time in the city. We asked whether we could have a coffee in the hotel after check-out, but were told that we were no longer hotel guests and therefore could not use this service. We also requested a late check-out, but were informed that the only option was to pay for an additional full night. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located, but the lack of transparency regarding the room window and the limited flexibility shown during an unexpected travel disruption left us somewhat disappointed.

“Enjoyable stay, convenient to reach the airport”

The hotel is pretty nice and seemingly new, the lobby is nicely decorated and they offer complementary drinks/snacks in the late afternoon. The room is spacious and tidy. Close enough to a metro station that's convenient to get to the airport.

Very friendly staff, clean and spacious room. The bath unit was one of the more elaborate one.

The location is very close to Shinagawa Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The duvet was soft and comfortable. The room was very clean. All amenities (kettle, safe, refrigerator, and toiletries) were available in the room. Free lemonade and snacks were provided in the lobby in the evening.

The hotel is very close to Shinagawa , Sengakuji and Takanawa Gateway Station so it is easy to access everything from where you are. It was also very comfortable and was clean, as well they top up the toiletries

LOVED this hotel! My favourite hotel of the whole trip. The room was super big by Tokyo standards, really comfy western bed, with chrome cast TV and huge window! Toilet was amazing best Toto I came across out of all the hotels I stayed at. Huge bathroom, with shower, bath, and little seat. Water pressure was fantastic in the bathroom. Nice little seating area to eat and put shoes on. Enough room for my giant suitcase. Fantastic location to Takanawa station, right across the street. Takanawa is a great place to stay that is close to all the main things in Tokyo but away from the hustle and bustle. The tourist centre at Takanawa station is so helpful and can provide you with a tourist Sucia card. Lovely staff to check you in (they speak english). Cute little grocery store at the top of the hill. Will be staying here again for sure!! PS they have USB slots to plug in your phone charger (no adaptor required).
