The check in was very smooth and the host very friendly and helpful. The interior was cute and it had everything you would need, I only stayed for one short night for work but it had everything I would need even if I would go for a longer stay. I would recommend this place to both short and long stay travelers.

“Quiet, Well-Located, and Thoughtfully Serviced Aparthotel”

We stayed at Kago 34 by Shukuba Hotel Tokyo from May 7 to 18, and it was an incredibly positive experience. This charming aparthotel is nestled on a quiet street, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently located. There are at least four supermarkets within walking distance for grocery runs, and a 24-hour Lawson convenience store is conveniently located right downstairs. Though the apartment is on the second floor and there's no elevator, the hotel staff kindly helped us with our luggage both at check-in and check-out, a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. They offer cleaning on request, and the apartment itself was spotless. The kitchenette is well equipped for simple cooking, and the inclusion of a washer-dryer (with detergent provided) made longer stays very comfortable and convenient. Location-wise, it's excellent, only a 5-minute walk to Kita-Shinagawa Station, which is just one stop away from the major Shinagawa Station. This made it very easy to get around Tokyo using both trains and subways. We absolutely loved our stay here. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend Kago 34 to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Tokyo, and we’d definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Very convenient location! Just a minute or two away from the nearest metro station, making it easy to get to popular spots like Shinjuku and Harajuku. Especially love that it’s quiet at night so me and my friends got to get a lot of good night sleep! Staff was also very friendly and helpful!!! 10/10

Nice, roomy (for Japan) apartment accessed by 2 flights of steps. Quiet friendly street with little traffic and 2 minute level walk to station which was one stop from Shinagawa station. Fabulous and strategic location in amongst the locals yet close to the action and Yamanote (circle) via Shinagawa station. Also on the Haneda Airport line. A prime spot... Two mini marts only doors away and terrific local restaurant in the basement next door (lots nearby also). Well equipped apartment with small but functional kitchen. Main feature a filtered water cooler! Staff from the hostel next door (which runs the apartment) were super helpful. Pics are accurate. Good wi fi connectivity points. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located on a beautiful street with plenty of quaint cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We found it very easy to navigate to and from the hotel with it conveniently located near a main train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us personal recommendations on nearby restaurants to try. The room had everything we needed and was the perfect place to start our holiday in Japan

This is the best accommodation we had in Japan. The place isn't big but has everything. The filtered water machine was a plus. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They recommended almost every meal we had in Tokyo and told us how to get to places. When we said the room was too bright and our son woke up at 5am. They didn't have blocked out curtains but managed to put some clothes up to keep the room dark for us. They were super nice to our son and would always greet us and play with our son when we walked past. When we left, it was very nice of them to give our son a gift. The neighbour is quiet but full of restaurants and has family mart & grocery store around. Highly recommend 三叶家(みきょうや) next door. Food and the owner are nice.

The property was clean with sufficient room and space for my family and I. The facilities available (kitchen, washing machine) made our travel more convenient. The staff were very friendly as well, helping us with our luggages to the room, showing us around the room and attending to us immediately when we had trouble with the stove top. The invited us to the Aquarium and cafe as well as part of Valentine’s Day, which we appreciated the offer!
