Friendly and helpful staff. Location. Close to metro/train stations. Konbini, supermarket, McDonald's within 6 mins walk. Mini kitchen in the room.

Near enough to Ueno JR station , Ameyoko street, supermarket and convenience stores. Size of room was small, but is to be expected for Tokyo hotels. Counter staff was good, and helped us to book taxis to get us to the station as it was raining on the day of checkout.

Rooms are very small. For a couple with a kid, the room is too tight although it says double bed. Rooms in Japan hotels are generally small, but this one had no space for luggage or for moving around. Guess the prices were a little higher as it was golden week when we travelled, but i mean… the rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos! Found better places later in our stay that were much more spacious clean and affordable

The hotel location was excellent - we loved Ueno. The semi double bed was big enough for a couple as no issues for a six foot tall person. A great grocery store is right around the corner.

The best during the stay was the location of the hotel. Close to Ueno station, and at the same time quiet street where you can go for a walk to Asakusa without much crowds or traffic.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was located within walking distance from Ueno station and several viewing points like Ueno Park and the Skytree.
