I've visited here many times, and the staff all feel like old friends now. The location is excellent for a visit to Asakusa, the beds are larger and more comfortable than a capsule hotel, the breakfast is yummy and great value, and I always meet new friends in the lounge.

I recommend staying here while in Tokyo. It's located in Asakusa, near jogging track asides the river. We were staying for 4 nights and it was comfortable sleep and the room was big enough to open the suitcases. We stayed in the bunkbed room, but they have pods for solo traveler. I love they have it all, microwave, hot water, laundry room, and rooftop.

Great location and service (offer to carry backs, super friendly) It is very convenient to have breakfast at the Hostel. Rooms for 4 people with big luggage are tiny but it is manageable. Nice add on is the rooftop.

I had a wonderful view of the river and was able to see dawntime. Very comfortable accommodation in a great location. Breaky was very nice, as well. Nice, warm showers.

“Get the window pod”

I love the location. It's really near the Asakusa Sta. From Narita airport I only rode the keisei train. Get the pod with window. You'll have a view of sumida river and you won't feel too enclosed. The roof deck has amazing views. Do not underestimate the owner's recommendation of where to eat. They do not disappoint. They have a washer and dryer. Dryer takes time but i did my laundry early in the morning and while im waiting for the dryer. Riku made me breakfast. I definitely recommend this place.

Everything was fantastic ! The location is perfect, super near Asakusa station to move around the city. The upper individual room with a fantastic view on the river, the dorm very confortable too ! Finally, the personnel was sooo kind and welcoming, it was really a fantastic stay ! 😍 (and the rooftop too !! Beautiful view on the Asahi building, skytree tower and the river)

“Perfect Asakusa stay in friendly, comfy, clean hostel”

This was one of my favourite hostels in Japan. Staff are super friendly and helpful. There is water and green tea on hand in a quirky communal area. WiFi works well and good for remote working. I didn't try the breakfast but other guests said good things. The room and bathroom were both clean and good levels. Shampoo, conditioner and soaps included and good quality. Towels included. The beds were comfy and built in which made them really private. The hostel enforced quiet time in the evening so you had really good sleep. I had the bed with window which I recommend as you had a beautiful view of the river bridges lit up at night. Lovely! Asakusa is THE place to stay in Kyoto for me and this hostel is a few minutes walk from the station which is ideal.
