“You must stay here - 5 star hostel”

Wow! This place is simply *fantastic* I have a lot to say about this place: the rooms are amazing and so comfortable, the shared space is so welcoming and relaxing (it felt like spending time in a contemporary cafe but with the privacy and relaxation of a hostel), and the location is great, off to a quiet side street and opposite a shrine (we woke up every morning to bird song). Our room was a large traditional Japanese room and it was gorgeous, we slept so well here. We read that the hostel was designed by folks who have spent a lot of time travelling themselves, and you can really feel this when you stay there. The staff are very kind and explained everything. There is laundry available, a little kitchen including a fridge and microwave. Everything has been thought of. We made some friends there also! It is a social but quiet place to stay, everyone is respectful there as the space is so nice. If you are staying in the area, please stay here - this is one of the top 3 places we stayed in during our 3 months in Japan and 30+ hotels, hostels, and guesthouses.

The bus stop is near the hostel one min. can go to anywhere, especially Temple 12 directly. Very convenient location. 7-11 is one min. The kitchen and the living room are great. Feel like home. i stayed here for 7 nights. And the boss and the staff are friendly and kind.

A perfectly set-up, friendly, convenient hostel. Large (height too) individual sleeping spaces. Spotlessly clean wash areas; a great shared space, too. Great staff!

The owner was very nice and friendly and went out of her way to make you feel welcome. The Bamboo bar was a great experience and the old building has a very authentic Japanese feel to it. The Jazz music filtering through the building is a very nice touch . Overall the most memorable stay out of three weeks in Japan. I liked it so much that I booked a further three nights! It's also in a great location, right near Deyashiki train station. I will definitely return one day and stay there!

The host was nice. She made me feel like home. The lounge and facilities were nice too.

Very clean, nice shared communal kitchen and dining room. Cosy tatami beds and good location a few minutes walk from Tokushima station.

Very beautiful hostel. The rooms and common space were very comfortable. The staff was very nice. I can recommend this hostel for a relaxed stay in Tokushima.

Ai is so lovely, friendly and helpful. Was able to leave a small bag whilst completing Shikoku ohenro, as I had booked to return when completed.
