The environment is quiet and Tatami bed is comfortable. The host Shota is friendly.

If you are going to tokoname to visit the pottery footpath, this is the place to stay! It is right in the middle of the loop and in a beautiful 100 year old traditional house. Shota San, who runs the guesthouse is super friendly and is one of the few people we met in tokonane who speaks English proficiently. It was a very chill and stress free stay. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in pottery.

Friendly Shota(staff) he speaks English& Frech as well. Cozy, Charm, spacious common area, all the comforts & excellent kitchen/shower facilities. I stayed 1 night before my return flight. I arrived in the late evening & the next day visited village. The guest house is in the heart of footpath, very easy & comfortable. Guests are very respectful. I enjoyed a good lunch nearby & grocery shopping then head to the airport by free shuttle. ^^ I'd love to visit again this guest house & village with family.

The host is absolutely friendly, helpful and fluent in English. The living and shared spaces are thoughtfully designed with good taste of wooden touches, furnished with modern facilities meanwhile keeping a sense of nostalgia of Japanese old house like tatami floor. I enjoyed my stay here very much, such a clean and cozy place to return to at night after spending all day long out there in summer.

“Unexpectedly Wonderful Stay Near the Airport”

I only chose this place because it’s close to the airport, but everything turned out to be perfect — far better than I expected. It’s a beautiful accommodation with thoughtful details in every corner. If I have the chance, I’d love to come back again for a longer holiday stay.

Super friendly and clean guest house in a beautiful building with communal areas and kitchen. Clean toilets and showers and really close to everything. Great for a couple of days exploring off the beaten track.

we only stayed for 1 night, but it was nice. The host was cool and talked english pretty well, our room was nice and clean, same goes for the bathroom. The house itself was cool looking. It was a nice stay :)

Shota is a welcome and friendly owner. We can feel all his heart in this house, that he renovated with a carpenter friend. It was a lot of work to make it look comfy, friendly, open, clean, convenient. There is a special attention to natural material, and the kitchen just made me want to cook everyday just at least to use the handmade ceramics there. The location, in the middle of historical Tokoname village, let every one experience the japanese life stay in the middle of locals. Tokoname has a lot of wonderful shops, restaurants and cute coffee shop. Every one would love to spend more than one night there. Enjoy the lovely peaceful life of a japanese small city. And for all the late bird, Nagoya is just 40 minutes from there by train so it's really easy to enjoy the excitment that cities can bring. I would love to stay there for more than few days 🧡 The best guesthouse I visit in Japan.

“A reasonable stay in the antique Japanese house in pottery artist district”

The common area being so chic with antique Japanese house x modern art combo. It's very entertaining just to be there enjoying Japanese beauty. Also located in the ceramic town, so many cool arts on the street, co close to the airport !
