Tokashiku Marine Village was a fabulous place to stay and I highly recommend staying here. Whilst it is an ageing hotel which does require an upgarde, especially the bathroom, it was a wonderful experience in every regard. The staff are extremely attentive, efficient, kind, helpful and polite. The hotel is located right on the beautiful Tokashiki Beach. Our room was clean, spacious and overlooked the beach and across to other islands. There are various daily activities which can arranged by staff. Snokelling at this beach is great. Lot's of fishes and coral not far fm beach. The hotel offers a fabulous buffet breakfast and dinner with a very good range of food. The hotel is absolutely good value for price. We highly recommend staying at Tokashiku Marine Village.

“Old hotel but best beach”

Tokashiku Beach is a much more sheltered and pristine beach than Aharen beach. The hotel warned us that Typhoon Jangmi may impact our stay and gave us advance notice that all ferries would be cancelled, and were happy to move our booking at no additional costs until the Typhoon was over. It's location is perfect. Dinner and breakfast was good. Our snorkeling guide was excellent. The shop for snacks and curios was well stocked. Rooms are spacious and do book the seaview rooms.

“Loved our stay!”

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure the children were accommodated for and even entertained them every time we were cleaning sand off of everything. When you're cleaning 4 pairs of shoes, 4 swimsuits, and all of the beach toys with two littles that want to sprint away in the blink of an eye, this makes such a difference. It's very kind of them to help! The access to the beach was great. There are some reviews that claim that the beach is too rocky but that isn't true. You will see broken pieces of coral at the tidelines like you will find on every beach in Okinawa and on these islands, but it is mostly soft sand. We ditched the felt shoes and ran around barefoot both days. There are also showers and clothing dryers on the way back from the beach + a restroom with a changing table for littles. All the meals were very delicious and there was a lot of variety for breakfast and dinner. Everything was very fresh. Also, leave the cooler at home! The shop in reception is decently priced and adequately stocked for snacks and drinks if you need something.

Incredible view from the room and one of the best beaches on the island. Great for having a sunset swim. Dinner was great. Offer snorkel hire and a great free ferry shuttle

Staff and location was excellent. Views from the ocean view rooms were lovely. The breakfast and dinners were very good and had variety and were well cooked. Great to snorkel off the beach and the sunset was amazing.

Next to the beach, so you can never go wrong. And the beach is nice, where you can snorkle and see fishes you don't even know the names of! It is also next to a little yet charming park. The breakfasts and dinners were interesting and satisfying.

“Lovely stay in Tokashiku”

Great rooms, comfy beds, lovely view from balcony over the sea, the food is great with plenty of choice with breakfast and dinner buffets. We read reviews saying that the food wasn’t great but for a resort on a small island we found it very good, with plenty of choice, from western food to traditional food, it was perfect.

It was SO near the beach! Love the location and peace. Room was very spacious, along with the balcony. Beach is generally very quiet and night stars was amazing. Food was alright too, not as worrying as some reviews have shared. Generally enjoyed my short stay.
