“Staff and owners made this a great trip going above and beyond!”

Very helpful owners and staff!! Picked us up and dropped us at all the beaches even picked us up and dropped us at the ferry terminal!! Lovely stay, would reccommend for a great island adventure!

I loved this hostel ! Very nice social atmosphere when I was there. Wish I had stayed longer ! Even though it's a bit far from the beaches they organize shuttles so that's very convenient.

“Great owner and beautiful beaches”

The owner and his wife were amazing to us. Drives everyone to the beaches in the morning before it gets busy and even gave us a lift to the beach in the evening on his way home as he drove past us. Kitchen well stocked and good social atmosphere. Much better experience than just a day trip.

The Kerama Backpackers staff were great! They were kind enough to drive us back and forth all around the island, and gave us local recommendations in this remote island. Thank you for your kindness!

Staff were friendly and Morino made it super easy for us to get too and from the beach each day! Can hire bikes through the backpackers as well!

The owners are really nice people. They answer any question really quickly and when we arrived by the ferry, they came to pick us up. They offer a ride to go to the beaches of the island since the hostel is on the other side of where the beaches are. the dorms were confortable and everything was clean. They have a nice commun space that is annexe to the main building. Most people stay there for just one or two nights, but the vibes are still good and people are friendly.

The property was perfect for a short stay and kitchen facilities were super useful. Showers and bathrooms were really clean.

Bunk beds were comfortable, with privacy curtains provided, and personal night lights in each bunk Rooms and general property was very clean and well kept Lovely staff who were very helpful Daily lifts to and from the beach are a big +++

my boyfriend and I loved everything about this hostel! The location, the staff, the shuttle, the facilities! It was wonderful! Atsushi the host is absolutely incredible! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me when I lost my wallet at the airport! gave his time and energy to help track it down and get it delivered! I appreciated it immensley! also tokashiki is just such an absolutely stunning Island- you wouldnt want to miss it!

The whole island is a magical place and Kerama os great place to use as base for exploring. The owners are supper nice and do daily shuttle to the beaches!

Super clean. Quiet and chill atmosphere. Super marked and a couple of restaurants close by. Walking distance (with luggage) from the pier. Easy and free shuffle bus to/from the beaches. Easy to get to know people, all ages from the world. More solo travelers than groups.

Very charming hostel with friendly staff and amazing location! Loved waking up everyday in the middle of nature. The hostel also provides free shuttles to both beaches nearby + transportation from the ferry terminal to the hostel.
