Staff were so helpful, shuttle bus service was great and on site restaurant was excellent. Room was small but perfectly fine.

A little walk from the port and we are at the hotel already. Good thing that we could check in early. The shuttle bus is perfect to go to the beaches. The room is very comfortable, and its design allows 2 suitcases to be opened side by side. Taiki graciously helped us with our suitcase up to 3rd floor and down again during check out. Tet-chan, the senior pro of the hotel, was friendly and engaging.

“Great starting point to explore the island”

We appreciated the shuttle car that would take us to Aharen beach or Tokashiku so we felt like even though we did not rent our own car we did not mind. The shuttle goes multiple times per day and you book it easily for free through your phone. The location of the hotel is also good, right next to the bay.

Comfortable room, toiletries provided, close to the port, free transport to the beaches, good value for money, plentiful breakfast (Japanese style), also serves food in the evening. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is super close to the port. Everyone in the hotel is friendly. The free shuttle to the beach was life saving for us! The breakfast was also great and the food in the restaurant is delicious.

Very helpful staff! We were able to spontaneously rent a car to explore the island. The hotel is in walking distance to the ferry port. For breakfast you get a traditional Japanese meal. The dinner options are also very delicious.

Hotel Kanaloa is in a strategic place, immediately close to the ferry port, in the quiet Tokashiki. Super easy to get to the main beaches through the shuttle bus, very efficient. Rooms are not huge but very clean and organised. Can get great food at the restaurant (Marina was awesome, extremely nice and smiley!). Staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
