Villa Meretare is located in quiet, green surroundings of Toila, just 1 km away from Toila spa and a 15-minute walk from the Baltic Sea. “Charming and authentic, care and personality. Most certainly an experience.”
A place with history and the host who wants to pass it on. The place has had a connection to Oru Castle, but there certainly is a story from Soviet time. If you want an authentic place, with magnificent furniture in a large dining room, heavy curtains, good beds, peace and quiet, home-baked bread and a sumptuous breakfast table, then this is the place. If you want personality, commitment and to feel like a valued guest, this is it. You get it all. Colors, stories and the atmosphere. No indifference, randomness or anonymity. Everything is chosen with care. Also Andrea Bocelli's aria during the breakfast. I know I will happily return again.

When you are on the road, and in need of a room for sleep, this was fantastic for us. A good room, a very friendly welcome, and nearby a good pub (the hotel gave us the tip) with decent food. And in the morning a really good breakfeast! Try it!

Absolutely delightful stay with a wonderful host. Lovely old villa well restored. Parking on site, very secure. Nice location and town. Great breakfast with all one needs. A very restful stay and a shame to move on. No complaints at all. Very few places I have stayed can match this.

Cosy and welcoming bed & breakfast in a beautiful old villa. Excellent breakfast with delicious homemade bread and good coffee. Lovely fireplace. Walking distance from the sea.

“Authentic experience”
The villa is really authentic and cozy - old fotos, vintage furniture. And this is a historical building! The owner and stuff are very friendly and welcoming. Overall it felt like we stayed at relatives or friends place rather than a hotel (in a good way).

Villa Meretare has the nicest host I have ever met on my trips. Our room was nice and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was great, tasty, thoughtfully made and served.
