“Amazing location for outdoor activity”

Great location for hiking, snowshoe hiking and back country skiing. Bus stop not far from hotel. Amazong breakfast with lots of variety: oats, bread with jam, yoghurt, fruit & veggies, at 5 different cheese and ham platter, selection of teas and fresh coffee. The owners are a lovely couple who make you feel at home. On each floor, there is a fridge to help yourself to some drinks or snacks. Also, on each floor you have a coffee machine and tea cattle. There is also a common fridge to put your own food in. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and had everything I needed.

I felt like I was at home during my time there. Friendly owners and nice location next to many beautiful hiking routes

“Cozy Hotel but Awful Experience with the Owner! Avoid it if You Can”

The Pros: • The cleanliness and organization of the hotel were up to standard. • The staff at reception were very welcoming and professional, making the check-in process smooth. • There are dedicated areas to store and dry your ski equipment, which is very convenient for winter sports enthusiasts. • The breakfast was typically German, with a good variety of bread, dairy, and wurst options. Definitely one of the better aspects of the stay. • The hotel itself has a cozy atmosphere, which could have been charming under different circumstances.

“Peaceful, joyful, restful, warm.”

Carmen and Andreas are exceptional hosts - very friendly, interested, always joyful. The ambience is quiet, beautiful. The breakfasts are just right - with an astonishing array of different cheeses. There is a good supper to be had there too, with a good selection of local wines. The rooms are beautiful and very quiet. The whole place is very tastefully decorated and incredibly clean.

“Amazing hotel in Schwarzwald”

The owners are super friendly and helpful. They always seem to have time for a quick chat and to give you some tips (even if your German is not that great). The hotel is located near the Feldberg, the Titisee and to many great hiking trails. The rooms are spacious and I even got an upgrade to one with a balcony. The breakfast is tasty and has everything you need. Highly recommended staying here!

A great welcome from the recent owners Carmen and Andreas. A nice quiet small hotel; our (upgraded) room had a balcony and a rural view. Parking on site. Smallish but comfortable room. Everything clean and tidy. Honesty type bar and coffee in the corridor. Good breakfast.

“Beautiful and peaceful stay”

The friendliness of Andreas and Carmen, the owners, was top. They were very concerned with my well-being and always have the time for a happy chat or some advice. The private parking straight in front of the hotel is not bordering the street as the hotel is tucked away in a quaint and narrow side alley that opens up just in front of its location I was upgraded to a room with a balcony and garden views which turned out smaller than expected (more a single than a double room, but the bed was big and the room super clean! The Japanese-style little garden with relaxing water features is part of the terrace adjoining the hotel and is very cozy. The place to be to unwind after a far drive. Up the garden hill there are benches to enjoy the view, relax with a cooling drink or write about your day. The breakfast is absolutely gorgeous and plentiful

I highly recommend it! Great place, very clean and decent size rooms. The owners are simply wonderful people. I hot ill during my stay in the hotel and they were great help. The owner even helped me to get my motorbike back on the trailer. Very nice breakfast and wonderful view on the mountains! I highly recomend.

An exceptional place for a quiet and relaxing country vacation. located about 3 km from the center of Todnau. The view is lovely and the house is decorated with good taste and it seems that a lot of thinking was invested in the decoration. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Carmen and Andreas are a very nice couple that helped us with any question we had. We will surely come again to this beautiful place.
