“Lovely Black Forest hotel”

Great rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast.

“We visited during the winter for the skiing season, the village is ideally located within close proximity to the Feldber”

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the village with all of the amenities literally on your doorstep. The sleeping accommodation is located right above the local pizzeria restaurant which makes it even more accessible. The rooms are very decent size, clean with comfortable beds.

Very clean and quiet. Facilities are good. Specially like the balcony with a nice view. Will come back again.

A very quiet hotel, full of charm, right in the centre of Todtnau, with easy bus links to lovely hikes that are well marked. Very clean and comfortable, with a lovely breakfast each morning. The staff are helpful and very responsive. Tourist office is very helpful. Todtnau is a very charming town with lots of dining options, but definitely check out the Bella Italia restaurant in this hotel.

Breakfast could have some more variety like veggies (only cucumber was offered) , coffee/cappuccino was good in taste but not hot enogh - just warm -pitty. Brought this fact to the attention of the staff ( owner we think) but the next day there was no improvement. Food in their restaurant/pizzeria - Bella Italia - is very good and fairly priced. We visited the Black forest Line bridge (spanning 450m above Todtnau Waterfall) . Awesome and lots of trails to hike plus we got the Guest card at the Hotel and benefitted from free entrance to the bridge (€9 each) .

The room was wonderful with grotto and/or Roman like details and complete with just about everything you can wish for. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was pretty basic but complete for what we expect.

Well located in a small town. In the main helpful staff but access to hotel tricky to find. Room small but clean and had rustic feel and was above the restaurant although no noise issues existed.

Location was superb. Restaurant was good. Not a lot open elsewhere. They provided discount vouchers for local tours n busses etc.

Staff really helpful, building amazing, could not of asked for any more.

This was a cute hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Cleanliness was very good, and the breakfast had enough variety to meet our needs and preferences.

“A hotel with a lovely ambiance, but the rooms are a bit dark.”

We had the room with the red painted France lily’s on the wall and a shower. The room overall was clean and specious and de beds were okay. Bit too hard but with your own pillow doable. The included breakfast was very nice a lot of different meat choices, cheeses, and sweets.

We didn't stay in the hôtel because there was some issues in the room, no way to fix it quickly and no other room available. But the crew has done all of what was possible to fix the situation and offered us accompagnement to find another place to stay. They of course didn't charge us. Wanted to share because despite the misfortune, the expérience could have been much worse.
