This is a beautiful and peaceful property. We had everything we needed at the property. We stayed in September and whilst the day was hot, the evenings were cooler. The owners advised on how to keep the property cool and it worked. Also there is a fan if you might need it. The pool area is heavenly. Gorgeous views. Recommended.

The Casarciccia is an oasis of peace and quietude. A spacious, beautifully designed garden with wonderful lavender scents and a large swimming pool, with widely spaced seating areas. Everything at Casarciccia is aimed at the peace and privacy of the guests (there are no families with small children allowed and our request whether our friends, who live in the area, could drop by to see our accomodation was met with hesitation). Our apartment was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean (you are asked to keep the door closed at all times to keep mice and insects out and not to fry meat or fish in the kichenette).

Casarciccia is paradise in Umbria. The location, the accomodation, and the view are all amazing. Shlomi and Ilana are wonderful and kind hosts who are delightful to spend a spring evening with on the terrace tasting their beautiful wine, discussing the colours of Umbria and humanity's place in nature. It is also the perfect base to explore the medieval hill top villages that surround you here. Do yourself a favour and spend some perfect days in Umbria at Casarciccia.

Casarciccia is a piece of paradise! A real must for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet and the beautiful views of the landscape full of vineyards, sunflowers and olive trees. An ideal base to visit the beautiful towns of Umbria. We have travelled a lot in Italy and stayed at many beautiful places, but this place is absolutely no.1. The accommodation is beautiful, just like the pictures on the website, even better. The estate itself is breathtaking. The pool with spectacular views. We stayed here for 8 nights and never got tired of it. Fantastic! The hosts are super friendly people, very helpful. Not pushy, always there and yet not. A lesson in slowing down and enjoying live! We enjoyed a wonderful evening of wine tasting and antipasti. The guided tour of the vineyard with the accompanying explanations and the story of the history of the estate were fascinating. Casarciccia has found a place in our hearts. If we are lucky enough to stay healthy ... we will definitely return. Sabrina & Thierry

“A wonderful experience.”

A beautiful place to relax amid well kept gardens and natural beauty in the Umbrian countryside. The sweeping sunset views at poolside were spectacular, and the cool evening wind made for great sleeping at night even in August. The apartment was perfect. The hosts were informative and friendly and respected our privacy. This is a great central base for day trips to the nearby towns of Assisi, Spello, Spoleto, Trevi, Foligno, Bevagna, Montefalco, Todi, Orvieto, and Bagnoregio. We visited all of them during our stay. And thanks for the wine tasting of your recent vintages.

Casarciccia is definitely a must, a place to spend some days or, if you are lucky, weeks. The photos on booking are catchy but the estate and the houses are even better. We’ve been to many places before, spend summers in Italy, but Casarciccia is the top on our list. After leaving we have decided to come back and spread the news that we’ve had a week in paradise. The hosts are very nice people, helpful and inspirational, not pushy but open to any questions, and they are ready to share their lives, experiences, stories and fantastic bioorganic red wine. When you swim in their spectacular pool with a fantastic view on the Umbrian countryside and their absolutely perfect house, you do feel what this couple shows to their visitors: life is and should be wonderful.
