Toberau Island was the real Fiji experience with such friendly staff. Location was perfect. We were looked after like family, nothing was too hard for them.

Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming and trying to make me feel at home (especially Joanna). Loved the live music at the bar and at dinner time. The Fijan buffet on Saturday and the staff choir on Sundays was amazing. Also.loved the basket waving and crab race. The guys at the bar were super nice and the cocktails yummy. Pool was clean and well-maintained. Loved, loved, loved Jack the shining parrot.

A slice of paradise, the closest thing to having your own private island! It travelled with our 2 daughter 7 and 5. Toberua Island is truly something special. The crystal-clear waters and marine life are right at your doorstep — you can literally step out of your bure and snorkel among vibrant fish within seconds. There are no crowds, no queues, and no fighting for food or equipment — just peace, beauty, and connection. The staff here are beyond incredible. Everyone is so genuinely friendly and welcoming. When our daughter became unwell during our stay, so many of the team checked in on her and helped us through it, it honestly felt like being cared for by family. What I loved most is how calm and personal the island feels. It’s the perfect place to switch off from the noise of everyday life and just be present. If you’re looking for a true island escape where you feel seen, cared for, and completely at peace Toberua is it. I cant thank the staff enough, so grateful 🙏

Hospitality and kindness of staff

Best ever accommodation in Fiji. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, the boat ride out, the amazing bure, the great people and food and the super snorkelling, everything went right, was easy and... well paradise.

This is a gem! Do not bother wasting your time anywhere else in Fiji. We have stayed at other locations and this is the absolute best! The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, clean and great value if you compare it with other properties. The staff are wonderful and you can do as little or as much as you like. Also the food is fabulous. Thank you Toberua for a most relaxing holiday!!

The staff were beyond amazing. Great food, heaps of great activities to do, or you can just lay by the beach or pool.

Beautiful location, relaxed vibe and very accomodating staff. Special mention to the chef that did a great job at customising a variety of options for every meal to accomodate vegan food. Would definitely recommend the scuba diving as well. Very colourful reefs with a variety of sea life.
