I don't think you could get a better location, close to the sea, close to the bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.The internet worked well.

“Nice place if you are passing through Tamatave”
Bit old fashioned but clean hotel in the center of the city. It is close to the beach and you touristic attractions and also the bus station and the airport are easy to reach. Staff is friendly

Could not recommend it more. The location is great, the rooms are super comfortable, with AC, a fridge and a huge bathroom. The staff is AMAZING... they went out of their way to make sure i had everything I needed and made me decide to go back another night during my stay in Madagascar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

“Relaxing stay”
Central location but close and to the beach. Room cleaning and linen change was daily. The room was really comfortable. Excellent value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great cleaners. The situation is very central to many locations such as beach and restaurants/bars and indoor market. Rooms good and spacious Good value for money. Second visit to Java hotel. Will stay again on next visit to Toamasina
