We had a really lovely stay at this small and welcoming guesthouse, and we are very happy with our choice. The house is well equipped with everything needed to cook very simple meals and prepare tea, which made us feel at home. Included in the price, there is even an additional room with small baby bef, which we found to be a very thoughtful touch. Everything was very clean, towels were provided, and there was hot water available. There was a minor issue with the shower mixer, as the water could be either very hot or very cold. However, we did not complain at all, as we were honestly just grateful to have proper hot water. For the previous 4–5 days we had stayed in other accommodations, some of them more expensive and well-known, where there was either no hot water or only lukewarm water, so this was absolutely fine for us. We also really liked the neighbourhood. When we arrived, the owner’s son (or the owner himself) came to pick us up near the city walls, brought us to the house and even offered us tea and sugar so we could make ourselves a warm drink. The next day, as it was Friday, the owner’s mother brought us homemade vegetable couscous, which was incredibly kind and generous. The hosts are truly wonderful people, very warm, caring and generous. We genuinely felt welcomed and looked after. I must be honest: for years I had avoided booking apartments, as a previous experience had been very bad. The place was dirty and felt more like a cheap motel than a home. However, my husband was very confident about this accommodation, so we decided to book it, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even extended it by one extra night. One last very important point: there is a washing machine, which was extremely useful. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy, authentic and welcoming stay.

“A town house for simple living”

The location amongst ordinary Moroccans was just what we wanted. We felt safe and nearby shopkeepers were positively friendly. We were pleased to use a new coffee machine with a milk frother and the fridge was very big. It was very quiet most of the time with no passing traffic. Really good value for money Lights in the bedroom were good enough for reading in bed which we don't always find in Morocco. We catered for ourselves but the flat was quite near a very nice café for eating out

We stayed very briefly. Everything was great clean space bed very firm but that’s okay for us. Great location and very budget friendly.
