“Very nice and relaxing”

Really nice stay, rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. The outside area was also lovely, overlooking rice fields and was a great place to chill after our safari. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

“amazing stay!”

we loved our stay here for 1 night before doing the yala safari. The family organised everything for us including taxi from hiriketiya and to ella the following day! They can also organise the safari which was great :) the room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The family made us a delicious dinner for just 1800 rupees each. We would definitely recommend and wish we could have stayed longer it was so peaceful - thank you for your amazing hospitality!

“Room for improvement”

Nice balcony and view of the rice fields.

Staff were lovely and helpful! In a good location and an ATM nearby. Good air conditioning and rooms were spacious with lots of plugs. Did a safari through the hotel- saw a variety of animals.

“This place is so lovely, we wished we had stayed longer than 2 days - just for the safari”

Spectacular location, beautiful hotel and surrounds, and exceptionally lovely, friendly and helpful staff - Adhi and his family. Fantastic room and terrace, awesome breakfasts! 7 hour Safari was very enjoyable coming close up with elephants, monkey, crocodiles and numerous exotic birds.

The view and the host, incredible place to rest ! They booked an excellent guide for the safari.

The host family was amazing, kind and beyond accommodating even with our special requests. We had one dinner and one breakfast there and the food was delicious for a reasonable fee. We booked a safari and for this purpose the location was good, and there are some restaurants in walking distance. The entire grounds are beautifully decorated and it feels a bit like staying in a treehouse. There also is an instagram, if you would like to see pictures of the place (vcabanas.yala). Would love to come back here sometime!

Beautiful location. Right beside the rice fields. Owner was very welcoming and organized a great safari for us. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Owner recommended an excellent restaurant to us: Smokey Kitchen. You can walk there from the guesthouse along the river.

A really pleasant stay in a unique and charming style. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view over the rice fields, which made the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing. The setting feels calm and authentic, and it’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

V cabanas is a beautiful place, it feels like a palace and they treat you like royalty - the breakfast was incredible - Ardi and his family are lovely hosts! Great place for a rest. Their wifi was speedy also.
