Nice clean room. Although I did not take safari tour with the host they were kind enough to agree for late checkout and breakfast after I arrived from other company tour at noon.

We loved everything! The room was specious, clean and comfortable with AC. The biggest advantage of this place was safari organised by the host Janeka, who took us 2 times to Yala NP. Our experience was out of this world! We saw 6 leopards and 2 encounters were very special because we spent such a long time with it without a single car around us. He is an amazing guide, very respectful for the wild life and we felt extremely safe even driving on crazy roads. We will never forget those days. The included breakfast was excellent made takeaway for safari. The whole family was helpful and welcoming. There is also a lovely restaurant right in front of the homestay. If you want a beautiful place to stay with unforgettable safari experience this is for you! We will be back. Thank you Yaneka and family!!

The place is in a quite street near a lake and the family that is hosting this stay is really helpful and friendly. The balcony is really big and there is hot water in the shower.

A great hotel run by a very kind family . We stayed here for two days and the breakfast was delicious. Also, on the second day, we went on a safari in Yala National Park in his jeep with the owner of the hotel, Mr. Janaka. He provided us with excellent service as it was a full day safari. He brings over 25 years of safari experience and excellent English language skills to provide excellent service to tourists. I would definitely suggest future travelers to take a safari from him and share his experiences.

We can’t recommend this place enough! The family is absolutely incredible – they let us cook real Italian pasta in their kitchen and we shared the meal with everyone, which made us feel at home. They even did our laundry for us, and the whole place was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. The father is very experienced in Yala safaris – he offers half-day tours at the best price we found and really knows the park well. He does everything he can to help you spot leopards! They also help with booking taxis and getting around the area. Our room was perfect, with air conditioning and super clean. Thank you so much for having us – we truly felt like part of the family!
