Stunning property with beautiful views. You can tell it’s new - it’s really well equipped and nice and clean. Russell and his colleagues really looked after us - surprising my husband with a birthday cake, driving us into town for dinner and organising breakfast for us at short notice. “Amazing place above the ricefields”

Everything during our stay in Oragan was literally perfect.To start with..the people, Russell and his brother were so kind in every moment,always smiling and ready to help in anything we might have needed.Their suggestions on what to do around and how to do it were always the right ones,specialltly for the safari in Yala nation park ,highly recommend to organose it with Russel if you plan to do it.Furthermore you MUST meet also Russel's uncle,Denzel, and you will understand the reason,an incredible person.As far for the room itself, the best room we stayed in Sri Lanka,the room is as beautiful as it looks in the fotos.Modern ,new, very very clean and it faces the ricefields that give you an incredible beautiful view from your balcony or directly from your bed as the windows are huuuge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ORAGAN RESORT.

It was beautifully located in between the rice fields—a perfect little stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the owner is the kindest and cutest person ever! At night, they arrange a night elephant-watching tour by jeep, which was the nicest experience I've ever had. The Yala Safari Tour was amazing. Our driver was quick to spot all kinds of wildlife, both big and small. We were able to see 10+ elephants, including a few babies, a crocodile, water buffaloes, eagles, storks, kingfishers, bee-eater birds, and even a leopard. Our driver's eagle eye even spotted some elusive geckos and chameleons sunning themselves on bush branches as we drove by. Even when I had a delicate matter that needed attention, they showed compassion. It's highly recommended for a stay in Thissamharama.
