Thissamaharamaya is a town that ts brutally humid but my family n I found an oasis in New Vilard rest. The 2 adjacent rooms we booked was surrounded by a large garden with coconut n Mango trees swaying in the light breeze.The airconditioned rooms were emaculately clean smelling fresh as were the bed linen and towels they had provided. We had a wonderful Breakfast made with love by Nisansala and Nimal her husband brought fresh Curd and kitul honey for us! The time we spent there was memorable and we wil not hesitate to return.Thankyou Nisansala and Nimal.

The room was very clean and spacious. The best room I stayed in Sri Lanka so far. The breakfast was very delicious. The area around is very quiet. Perfect to calm down and relax!

Nice family that run it,they make you feel at home with tea on arrival and we were also given a fresh coconut! We booked our safari through them which was very convenient and also our taxi to the next location.

Super nice place, the owners are super sweet :) We spent only one night to go to Yala, but we really enjoyed our stay here. The place is cozy and clean, in a good position to start the safari the next day.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The host was super friendly and helped me set up a safari, which was great. He also made sure I got breakfast both days, even though I had to head out really early, and gave me some nice tips for places to eat nearby. The room was comfy and had AC and a mosquito net, which was all I needed. There were a few insects now and then, but nothing that bothered me. Overall, a chill and easy place to stay—I'd definitely recommend it.

“Excellent homestay near Yala”

Fantastic value for money - the included breakfast was excellent. Aircon working great. Lovely hosts/family. They booked our Yala Safari for us and arranged transportation. Perfect stop for us as a base to visit Yala NP. They also kindly offered to cook us dinner which was delicious.

Staff super friendly. Host made very nice rice for us for dinner! Good price. Clean, air conditioning and hot water. They helped us with the safary booking and a taxi getting to Ella. Would recommend 100%!!!

The best stay close to Yala National Park that you will not regret booking. The host family was very nice and hospitable. We also ate one of their delicious home cooked meals for dinner and had amazing breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hosts are willing to go above and beyond for you. Their hospitality and kindness is amazing which made our stay here so comfortable and great.

“Perfect stay with an warm welcoming hostfamily”

The Host an his family were super nice and welcomed us with tea and coffee. The room had a well working AC, hot water and a mosquito net. The included breakfast was good and they even habe us a lunchpaket when we had to leave at 5 am in the morning for the safari. The Host offers a safari himself. In the evening they cooked very much and delicious food on our request. If you are planning to go on safari in the Yala Nationalpark, i would definitely recommend to stay here.

Fantastic value for a great private room! Clean, a comfortable bed, aircon, hot showers, and a huge breakfast waiting when I returned from safari! Lovely family who helped organised safari & transport to Ella as well, and got me prices much better than other hotels were offering.

The owner and his family was very nice and helpful. We received the as welcome gift. At the end of our stay, the owner went with us to the bus station, and explained us everything (and offered us bananas for the road). The room is fit for 3 people, quite large. The shower has hot water. There is A/C in the room. There was a mosquito net. The owner arranged quickly a safari (which we enjoyed), and woke up early to give us our lunchboxes. WiFi was working well.
