Location was nice

Really lovely location, excellent price, quiet and surrounded by greenery. Great to stay here before or after Yala safari. Gardens very lovely, hosts were very nice and welcoming, cooked one of the best, if not the best, kottu we have had in Sri Lanka! Mix up with the rooms, but the room we were given was still lovely and very cute!

What a place. Lake view in a cabana. Wonderfull. I book the safari in the Yala National park with them because their were perfect host. Laundry service. Place to parc car or scooter. Everything 5/5 thank you for this moment.

The proximity to nature made this stay so peaceful. It’s nice to stay with a family. They made us great food and organised the safari for us. Lots of shaded outside area by the lake to relax.

It was just as I expected and a wonderful surprise 😮 the staff were great 👍 No flyscreens but there are mosquito nets over the bed. Breakfast was yummy

“A dream tre house”

We had the most magical stay near Yala National Park! Sleeping in a treehouse surrounded by lush greenery was an unforgettable experience. The place is absolutely magnificent, completely immersed in nature, peaceful and beautiful beyond words. Everything was spotless and very well taken care of. The treehouse room itself was simply fantastic — cozy, unique, and truly special. Waking up surrounded by nature was a dream. What made our stay even more memorable was the incredibly warm welcome we received. The owner has the most wonderful smile and made us feel at home from the very first moment. We arrived late in the evening with our children completely exhausted, and they kindly prepared a warm and delicious meal for us — such a thoughtful and touching gesture. We were truly sorry we couldn’t stay longer. They also helped us so much in organizing the next part of our journey, which we deeply appreciated. A truly special place that we will always remember.

Wildness & romantic

Lovely rustic cabana right on the waters edge. Great for birdwatching- also saw mongoose & water monitors just below the cabana. Went for daily morning walks around lake - again great for birdwatching and catching local life. Family who run the place super friendly - spent time drinking arrack with the father and playing cricket with the kid. Food was excellent and plentiful. We didn’t do a safari as we were happy just hanging out at the property for a couple of days.

Authentic experience with the outdoor kitchen, the food that the hosts made. One of the best dinners we had. They were very helpful hosts and kind. We took the Yala safari with them, and they also helped organise our transfer to Ella with the Udawalawa safari on the way.

Epic experience! We stayed in the tree house, it was perfect for our 2 families of 4. We also had dinner cooked there, adults had the Sri Lankan curry and kids had chicken noodles, highly recommend and so much food. As there aren’t restaurants around, this is the best option. The location is beautiful and peaceful, staying directly on the river, you’ll see beautiful birds, monkeys and if you’re lucky, a crocodile. The owners son is 10, his name is Manjet and he’s lovely, his smile is heart melting. If anyone is heading over, I know he’d love a cricket bat if you have room in your language. We also booked our safari directly through the property, this worked well for us as we had a jeep to ourselves and were well cared for. Make sure you take cash as there are no atm’s close. Yala is about a 35 minute drive from the accommodation. We saw elephants, mongoose, crocodiles, deer, water buffalo, heaps of beautiful birds and monkeys.

Lovely familiybusiness with nice cabana’s and lovely garden. Hammocks for chilling next to the lake. The nice garden feels like a jungle and is relaxing

The property is truly beautiful. We stayed in the cabin overlooking the lake, which offered complete privacy and made us feel fully immersed in the peace and tranquility of nature.
