“Beautiful views, friendly host and comfortable room”

Beautiful and picturesque location with views onto Lake. Host was very friendly and helpful - he even made sure to get an item back to us which we left behind within moments of our departure. Room was a good size, clean and nicely decorated. Great breakfast.

“Perfect stay”

Host was super kind. We got in late in the evening and tired, and he cooked us some dinner himself for very cheap. We requested to have breakfast in our balcony alone and he had no issue with it, and helped us bring it upstairs. Breakfast was incredible and a very generous amount. The room was great and super spacious. We were alone in the cottage while staying there. Great views to the lake!

A truly beautiful location, absolutely stunning views over the lake. Very friendly staff who also helped us by arranging a morning safari in Yala National Park. We booked half board which I would recommend as there are limited food options nearby. Very clean room and powerful air conditioning.

“Best nightstay we had in Sri Lanka”

Absolutely the best nightstay we had in Sri Lanka! Views on the lake are amazing, location is remote and peaceful. We could chill on the terrace and watch birds. The room and bathroom were very clean, the cleanest we had in Sri Lanka. The owner arranged a laundry service for us. I wish we could stay there longer.

the best location ever! right on the lake so we got to experience all the wild life sights and sounds, the sunrise was spectacular and so peaceful. Our host booked a morning safari trip for us and we managed to see 3 leopards which made the stay complete. Beds are comfy and the bathroom shower is strong.

“A simple and peaceful place with nice staff”

Even though they don’t speak English very well the staff was super helpful. Even before I arrived they were already concerned about transportation and arranging us a safari at a fair price. They cooked dinner for us, we could choose anything we wanted, they woke up early in the morning to make sure everything was ready for the safari and even drove us to the next town (all at a fair price). We could even leave the room after hours. The accommodations were nice with a really peaceful view over the lake surrounded by all the sounds of animals. Perfect

The place is right on the lake and its very calm and quite. You can see many different birds from the terrace. The stuff is very friendly and helpfull. Thank you for your hospitality.

“Great located, beatiful views and amazing safari”

The place is beautiful; you can enjoy amazing views from the terrace. It’s peaceful and far from the noisy area. We booked a safari with the host and it was fantastic. The driver, Kasun, was the best—very skilled and with a great eye for spotting animals. We even got to see a leopard up close, which is really rare. No doubt he loves his job and puts great effort. We highly recommend arranging the safari with them.

“Great basic accommodation”

Comfy room, ac was good! The man who works there is very sweet. They organised a safari for us which was super easy.

Just me and my girlfriend staying at the property. The staff were lovely, and it was like a bit of a homestay experience. They helped us boom a safari for the next morning too.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It’s one of those places that you won’t forget - the staff were so kind and lovely and just made us feel some welcome. I loved looking out to the lake and seeing the beautiful scenery and catching sight of eagles and kingfishers nearby. We had dinner and I enjoyed the coconut soup! Thank you again to the lovely staff, waking up when we went to safari early, helping us with bags and just being so lovely!
