Stayed at La Safari Inn and had a really great experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the rooms were neat and comfortable, and the pool was very clean. The staff was kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The safari experience was excellent and very well organized. A lovely place to stay near Yala, highly recommended!

“Perfect launch pad for an afternoon in the wilderness.”

On this trip to Sri Lanka, I have not been disappointed in any place, measured against their price bracket. This place was exceptional. It was a warm welcoming place, with a splendid courtyard, eating/chilling area (after a long hot safari), and a crystal clear pool to cool off in. But most of all, the staff were marvellous, going above and beyond to help out in every way. I can’t recommend it enough.

Yes, was a perfect place to reset an join on the safari. Although I found Th safari not that interesting. Maybe going to zone 5 instead of 1 wil fix that. Less cars there. There is a really nice restaurant around 10min walking.. smoky …

I had such a lovely stay here during my visit to Yala National Park. From the moment I arrived, the family made me feel so welcome and comfortable. As a solo traveller, feeling safe is really important to me, and I can honestly say I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. The room was very clean and had everything I needed, which made it easy to relax after long days out. The welcome drink was such a thoughtful touch and something I’ll genuinely never forget. The food was another highlight – the chef in the kitchen is amazing. Every meal was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. I also accidentally overslept and missed checkout time, and they were so kind and understanding about it, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend doing your safari through the hotel. They arranged everything seamlessly for me. The safari starts very early at 4:30 a.m. and they were awake with me, making sure I had everything I needed, even providing water before I left, which I really appreciated. The guide they arranged was excellent. He had such a sharp eye and was able to spot even the tiniest animals that I would have completely missed. He was also incredibly informative and knowledgeable about every animal we saw, which made the whole experience even more special. Overall, such a warm, kind and genuine place to stay. I would 100% recommend it, especially for solo travellers looking for a safe, welcoming environment and an amazing safari experience.

The pool was the main highlight, perfect after travelling or a safari. It was also very convientent to have a restaurant built in. The room was a goodsize for all three of us to spread out and have our bags out. The bathroom was very clean and modern.

La Safari Inn is up there in the best accommodation places we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. Friendly staff, very clean room and hotel. Their safari truck and experienced driver gave us a great tour through the park. Would definitely recommend.
