The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were lovely to our kids and so welcoming. The pool was lovely and clean and our room was clean and comfortable.

The manager was very sweet and helpful and we felt super welcome! He helped arrange af safari and everything.

Nice clean and calm place with a pool to relax. Delicious food with large portions. Friendly staff. They helped us to book a great safari in advance. We did a full day and highly recommend their safari trip. We booked our first safari with a private company and they robbed our money. At the end if tour we recognized that they did a scam. They brought us around the park without purchasing entrance tickets. Hosts helped us to solve the incident and next they arranged our trip to Yala for a reasonable price. My opinion is book your trips somewhere responsible. We recommend this place highly for stay and for place the safari.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and attentive. They even made a small breakfast for us early in the morning before we went on a Yala safari. They can arrange a safari tour if you have not booked one already. The property is a family-run business and food is home made which is also not bad.

The hosts are super nice and are trying their best to make you happy. The room was big and very comfortable. The pool has a great size. The host helped us a lot to get a great tour in the national park and helped us to go to the next village by bus. He was always available on WhatsApp or around. Because we had some inconvenience due to their reopening, they made us a free dinner.

Arranged the safari to Yala National Park with host and it was awesome. Saw all the animals with leopard. The place nice and quiet. Staff helpful.

The host was great, we got taken on a free tour to see the fruit bats which was great. It's a great location to stay for the Yala Safari and the host gets a really great price for you.

It was a pity to stay only one night. The place is really nice and quiet in the middle of beautiful nature. To have the chance to see the fruit bats at dawn was an amazing experience. People are really friendly and food is delicious and authentic. They were really nice to make a surprise for our 36th wedding anniversary, we really appreciated and felt warmly welcomed. Also helped us to continue our journey to the south. Would recommend this great place.

“Amzing location, amazing hosts!”

We initially booked 2 nights here but ended up staying a week because we enjoyed the location and the accommodation so much. Tissa has much more to offer than just yala National Park, so I urge people to stay a bit longer here and go explore. The owners and the staff in this place are incredibly kind and care a lot about their guests. They took us to see the fruit bats, we tried spotting an owl, and they lent us their bino's to go birdspotting, for which this area is excellent. We could also use their scooter to run errands to town free of charge. They also arranged the yala safari for us, which was an amazing experience, and we had a very good driver. The food they serve is also very delicious and the rooms are very clean and cozy. The best accommodation experience I've had so far in Sri Lanka!
