- Staff were really responsive and helpful, we hit a snag where our bathroom was leaking. They were efficient and quickly had our room changed and upgraded. They assisted in moving our multitude of luggage over - Facilities and the pool was great! - Beds were extremely comfortable

“Great place to stay for one or two nights.”
It was relaxing to sit by the pool after an early safari start. The meals were good and the staff tried very hard to please. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

This place has a feeling of luxury. Room was very big & shower was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. The pool area is very clean and the sun beds are comfortable. Great location for safari tours too!

A very quiet boutique hotel with 10 rooms. The rooms were large, very comfortable and had good A/C. They are all built in nice gardens around a lovely large pool. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the small restaurant has a surprisingly good menu.... we had 2 delicious meals there. This hotel is quite a way out of town, and is surrounded by rice fields. If you like the noise of the city it's not for you, if you enjoy tranquility then Avonil is perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Avonil Resort Yala! The hotel is beautiful, and the room was very nice and comfortable. We had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant the food was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful with everything. We really felt at home here. Highly recommended!

Lovely pool, friendly staff, living area of accommodation beautifully finished. Kindly gave us takeaway breakfast for safaris. Lovely rice paddies view from balcony. Quiet and felt private.
