“A home away from home”

We had a wonderful stay and genuinely enjoyed our 12 days here. The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and would be very happy to return in the future. The big terrace downstairs offers you a hideaway from the burning sun and a place to chill (you can also barbeque) with your friends and extremely nice and friendly landlords (at your disposal at anytime). We also liked its immediate vicinity to the city centre and the festival we attended, and we liked the tidiness and practicality of the appartment.

The apartment was very clean and spacious, just like in the pictures. Everything is brand new and modern. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the water was hot. The AC worked perfectly. The location is perfect for visiting Tisno and attending the Garden Festivals. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, we had no issues whatsoever. They even allowed us to use their washing machine. The apartment is well-equipped, it has everything for short and long stays. The apartment is very close to the beach, just 2 minutes walking. There is a big private balcony that is perfect to have breakfast, lunch and coffee.

“OVERPRICED AND CONTROLLING GRANDPARENTS INCLUDED IN THE FEE”

We paid a lot of money for this apartment as we saw the beautiful garden with grape vines. We were working from home for 3 days of our stay and chose this for a good working environment. We unpacked and went downstairs to the garden to work. The host came out sat with us and was letting us know we have a balcony to use. Then proceeded to say they had no air con and that THEY use the garden. About 2 hours later the husband of the host came out asking why we don’t like the balcony trying to passive aggressively shove us back upstairs. Already setting the mood as if we aren’t welcome in the garden advertised on the pictures. We asked for a spare single bed as 2 of the 4 guests were not sharing a bed. Me and another guest kindly and carefully moved the wardrobe for it to fit in the bedroom as the hosts are of the older generation. We were given a lecture on how we have no right to move the furniture although it was to help them fit the bed in. When they brought the extra bed in the next morning the woman said ‘You made me feel guilty about what I said’ but didn’t apologise and continued to blame us for her own words and actions… pretty much gaslighting us. The host asked if we smoked which the first two guests arriving didn’t so we said no. The other guests arrived in the evening time who did smoke. She came upstairs and let herself into the apartment no knocking, saying I thought you said you didn’t smoke, accused of lying about smoking although the guests she asked didn’t smoke, she gave us an ashtray but was very annoyed about this. As the other guests arrived in the evening we were all hanging out on the balcony just talking at a normal level having a catch up with some old friends, the host let herself into the apartment yet again invading our privacy and said there was absolutely no noise on the balcony after 11pm as they were trying to sleep. We were not being loud or playing music - so the balcony is out of bounds after 11 essentially or you MUST whisper.
