Everything necessary is in the lodge. If you need something else, don't be shy to ask the hosts. The location is on the tiputa side, you need a bike or a scooter to get around. It is quiet and private, the view on the ocean is very beautiful. You have good chances to see the whales from your porch. The private lagoon beach is two minutes by foot. They have incredibly good recommendations for a diving instructor on the tiputa side, I had such an amazing and exclusive experience! Simple Breakfast is included, dinner can be requested at a fair price, everything was delicious.

The hosts, Vaitia and Yvhan, were warm, helpful and supportive. They organised the transfers to Tiputa, and picked me up after the taxi boat ride. I was given a tour of the village, shown the location of the supermarkets and routes to use when hiring the bikes. This all really helped to provide a relaxed and enjoyable stay on a more remote, holiday destination. They also were well connected to the tourist sector on Rangiroa. Vaimoe Lodge Tiputa faces out to the sea, and has a lovely terrace where you can relax, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the view of the waves breaking on the reef. It’s located away from any tourist hubs, and its set up is simple, clean, spacious and comfortable. I had the meals prepared by the hosts, which were delicious. The bike hire was very handy and fun. There is a lovely sense of community on Tiputa, and the people were friendly, kind and patient.

Location was super, very quiet with a great view. Breakfast was very good and changed depending on days. The owners were the kindest and really took care of us during our stay. I would highly recommend this accomodation if you want to spend time in the Atoll of Rangiroa.

I had a wonderful week here at Vaimoe lodge! Ivan and Vaitia were always making sure that I had everything to enjoy my stay to the maximum. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacy and you have a constant refreshing breeze coming from the ocean. You even have a direct ocean view from some of the bungalows. The local food they prepare is awesome and this side of the Tiputa pass is very natural and more calm with more locals living here and less tourists. You don't get a better package for your money in Tiputa than at Vaimoe lodge :) It's also just a short 30 min walk away from Tiputa pass where you have a cheap taxi boat every 30 min to bring you to the other side and the locals will even often ask you if you want a ride for free… You can also book all your activities directly with them like dolphin tours or diving etc… Can only recommend this place, run by a wonderful family 🤙🏽
